Everyone put him in team of the season so far. We can argue which PL midfielder is better than him if there is any and you want Liverpool bench warmer over him? Yes, I'm serious. Judging a player based off half a season at Palace is farcical; form is temporary. Also, I never said I wanted him over Gallagher. 18 hours ago, Vesper said: Keïta has not exactly set the league afire, especially for £54m zero chance I would swap Gallagher for him. especially given the fact that after next season, he only has one full sub 30yo season left tempus fugit I agree he hasn't shone as quite a few expected, but he's had a number of setbacks (only played 16 games last season). However, if we're going to keep Gallagher next season, the whole discussion is a non-starter.

Pizy 18,939
If Roman is indeed heavily sanctioned I hope our club hierarchy are aggressively pursuing player that will be free agents. Lots and lots of top players that could improve us without having to spend a penny on transfer fees. Should take a page out of some of the other top European clubs who do so. Raphina is someone we should look at if we decide to get a AM. I have said elsewhere I am done with buying players if we have a youth product with potential in the wings/on a buyback. Thus, Gallagher is my first choice out of all CM options now, whilst Livra is my RWB option, Broja at CF and Colwill at CB. I say this as I do not feel the scouting department can evaluate players properly and I am sick and tired of wasting money and who doesn't love a HG boy doing good? Chabolah's progress for instance has been my favourite thing about this season, thus far. However, if we do go for players outside of our own players outside of our own, then PL proven players is my next criteria. As a result, Raphina would be my first choice target regardless as we know he can deal with the league. Lukaku 23 goals in by far best team in the country and Vlahovic 21 goals in team that almost fight for relegation. Same height but Vlahovic almost 7 years younger and much cheaper. So dont know why would anyone choose Lukaku over Vlahovic? 9 months later still wondering about same question... Another great goal by Dusan tonight. https://streamff.com/v/d4770d Vesper

Think now is the best time to cut ties with Azpilicueta personally. Great man but the gulf in quality compared to him in James is massive. Kounde would probably offer a lot more at RCB and RWB given his ability on the ball. Then we can activate Livramento's buy back in 2023 if he's good enough. mkh and Fernando
