Why do we fear Bayer, Real? It is what it is. If we are strong, we beat them. If not, another time. That's a beauty of the game. Do we want a weak team to win? If we are not good, we will have to see where we should improve and in future we can see the better Chelsea. If we are not happy with current team and pray for a win, then we are always in frustation mode.

Accept ive been posting the whole time and theres no way we win anything major on current form, Wind ya neck in!

Club world cup? Surely win that.

Seasons still only half way in, the current form likely wont be out current form in a few weeks and you’ll be back to waiting for shit to go wrong before piping up again.

Im not sure I'd class the club world cup a major but its probably on par with the FA cup although people would argue that.

CWC is a big deal.

In terms of importance not really, i consider CWC a minor trophy just like Super Cup and Community Shield.

Major: CL, PL, FA Cup, EL

Minor: Carabao Cup, CWC, Super Cup, Community Shield

Surely something you can only enter by winning club footballs most elite trophy is something worth winning though? Same with Super Cup. Plus as something we’ve never won, again even more incentive.

Don't see why people look down on these two trophies, not as if its the community shield or something dead rubber like that.

1. It's a competition only the Champions of continents can win. (United and Liverpool the only English winners)

2. We've never won it before.

It is a very big deal. We win this we have won the lot.

Still a minor trophy to me not as important like the majors. If we win great, if lose then no problem.

I guess if you base things so strongly on current form you were expecting the quadruple a two weeks ago?

we have been crap for longer than that, Man city owned us to crys of 'we only need to beat lower teams to win it'

Hopefully its just a blip and we can win more than our rivals, Sometimes you just see signs, Getting owned at home the way we did against man city was one.

City done a similar demolition job at Anfield a week later and were very unlucky to only draw. Unfortunently that's the reality of facing a Pep side, when they're on it even the next best has to resort to extreme underdog tactics to even have hope of getting a result.

We were largely fantastic between Malmo and Juventus. Yes people may point to the opponents but that's too easy in hindsight, many were wetting their pants over playing at our "bogey ground", having an early kick off at Leicester and also thought we'd struggle badly to break down a stubborn Juve playing for a point.
