In terms of importance not really, i consider CWC a minor trophy just like Super Cup and Community Shield.

Major: CL, PL, FA Cup, EL

Minor: Carabao Cup, CWC, Super Cup, Community Shield

1. It's a competition only the Champions of continents can win. (United and Liverpool the only English winners)

2. We've never won it before.

It is a very big deal. We win this we have won the lot.

Still a minor trophy to me not as important like the majors. If we win great, if lose then no problem.

Accept ive been posting the whole time and theres no way we win anything major on current form, Wind ya neck in!

I guess if you base things so strongly on current form you were expecting the quadruple a two weeks ago?

we have been crap for longer than that, Man city owned us to crys of 'we only need to beat lower teams to win it'

Hopefully its just a blip and we can win more than our rivals, Sometimes you just see signs, Getting owned at home the way we did against man city was one.

City done a similar demolition job at Anfield a week later and were very unlucky to only draw. Unfortunently that's the reality of facing a Pep side, when they're on it even the next best has to resort to extreme underdog tactics to even have hope of getting a result.

We were largely fantastic between Malmo and Juventus. Yes people may point to the opponents but that's too easy in hindsight, many were wetting their pants over playing at our "bogey ground", having an early kick off at Leicester and also thought we'd struggle badly to break down a stubborn Juve playing for a point.

Agreed. We looked like the real deal but our play hinges on very few players showing how overrated our depth is. Take out Kante and Chilwell and we are an ordinary side. Subtract even more midfielders and confidence we look like absolute shit despite having the best coach in the world. We can only hang there with the best aka Mancity if we play out of our skins and assume the underdog role, being tight at the back and play on the counter. Our controlled, methodical, possession based play is not on a very high level if we are honest. Our attackers are average and we rely on Chilwell and RJ making runs in behind to score after Kante wins the ball high up the pitch.
lampard was right to some extent. We actually don’t have the squad to play for the very big titles consistently. The fact that we still won the biggest of them all was down to TT finding the perfect formula and us embracing the underdog role perfectly. Now we are champions of Europe and everything changed. Everyone wants to beat us and we struggle with the pressure and expectations.
