with out being in the papers too much we are silently going about our business and are kinda the dark horses in the CL and the Prem now. i like that we are making ppl eat their words, we are definitely in with a shout at the major trophies and i think the management and the players are doing well ATM.

I don't want to keep going over and over this topic, but one thing that i will say is that once Jose left i would NEVER in a million years would i have thought that we would be where we are now, well in contention in the league and through to the champions league in top spot with a game spare......I think it would be fair to say that once Jose left given the turmoil and turbulence that was to come everyone pretty much wrote off our season. The fact that we are doing so well and very much in for every cup still means that the coaching team must get some credit for that...
Great post Esk and what I have been trying to say really, but you summed it up so much better than me. Some people have read me wrong, Im not defending Grant, Im just saying that my love for this club comes over and above what is happening at the moment. I can only see past this and watch the boys doing the thing thay do best, and thats making me happy by winning football matches. I loved Jose as much as anyone (what CFC fan wouldn't ?) But he ain't coming back and we have to move on.

Same!I mean long way to go but thought after that Man you game although not his fault that we'd be way behind the top 4 and struggle to get a top 4 spot.I think however if we loose Clarke things could change but for now still cant believe it.Thought a goal down against Valencia that be it but nopes

I REALLY hope Fabregas doesn't play on Sunday, he's Arsenal's motivator in midfield and highly dangerous to any opposition. Hleb and Flamini are also just as lethal so it would be good for us if they're out as well.Shame mini Maka could play against us unsure.png

I have moved on, I just cant stand Grant. He gets under my skin
So have I, but I've repeated this often enough, his constant prattling on about the great football we are playing since he took over which most can't recognize (he was on again about it today pre match Valencia) and how poor we were under Mourinho just drive me nuts and ruin my enjoyment if I ever see him post match talking.I just need to stop listening to him and pretend he's a mute, then I'll be much happier. Arsenal are really suffering with certain players missing for them, you can't be the same team with key players missing as we have seen when Drogba, Lampard and Riccy/JT are all out at the same time.I think Chelsea could get a good result, we always do well against Arsenal and our players know how to rough them up.If Grant doesn't mess up the team too much and sends them out as they know, I think they can beat Arsenal in their own back yard, because Arsenal were awful against Boro and I think their squad is too thin to cope.Yes Drogba is missing but our midfield is better given the injuries they have.
