adidas has allowed a handful of partners to put their own twist on its NMD S1 such as Pharrell and RIMOWA. And this season, the brand is reuniting with military-inspired fashion label Hamcus to release its own interpretation of the lifestyle silhouette.

The Guangzhou-based imprint and the Three Stripes first unveiled their collaborative partnership back in December 2022 when they revealed a collection or technical and overtly militaristic apparel silhouettes that were built for winter. For this footwear team-up, Hamcus’ signature design language is evident in the pair’s look and build. Knitted uppers are done up with a dune-like light brown hue and feature pleated toe boxes and patch-like heel overlays, the latter of which is reminiscent of patches on a soldier’s jacket. The lacing system has been remixed with a black bungee cord and bolts have been added around the lace loops and heel tabs to spruce up the kicks with a more technical aesthetic. Down below, the semi-chunky sole unit is dialed to a similar brown hue to match up with the base.

After a brief butting of heads between Nike SB’s Instagram and sneaker accounts showcasing leaked imagery, the Creshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low has since surfaced in up-close photos showcasing the collaboration’s many hidden details in homage to inner-city skaters.

Featuring our best look at the upcoming dual-effort yet, the LA-based banner has strewn a number of motifs throughout the heavily cushioned ensemble, bearing the club’s building block insignia along the medial tongue and tread at the heel accompanied by crisp white nimbus clouds to hit home the baby blue, sky-inspired outsole underfoot. Elsewhere, the brand’s playful font assumes the style of the tongue and heel tab logos alongside a burnished tie-dye finish executed along the insoles.

As far as the color blocking goes, the silhouette anchors the entirety of its upper in a clad-suede association. Milwaukee folk punk band Violent Femmes has revived its fervent fandom since the group reunited in 2013. Among those fans is skateboarder Stefan Janoski, who’s releasing a special-edition shoe.

“Violent” and “Femmes” are separately chain-stitched on the lateral side of each shoe and the words from their hit 1994 song “I’m Nothing” — which Janoski sings with the band on a version that will re-release with the forthcoming album — are printed in Janoski’s handwriting on the tongue.

Pop Trading Company x Stepney Workers Club’s Dellow S-Strike Inspired by Gleneagles, Scotland

In an ode to golfing culture, we’re uniting Amsterdam based Pop Trading Company and Gleneagles for a multi-brand collaboration. As part of the collection, Stepney Workers Club’s Dellow S-Strike shoes are reworked in honour of the legendary Gleneagles resort in Scotland, founded in 1924. These sneakers are transformed to mirror the refinement of traditional golfing shoes.
