Aesthetic Relic 301
Drogba: I should've PUNCHED Man Utd's Vidic Chelsea striker Didier Drogba says he wished he'd punched Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic in last season's Champions League final. The Ivory Coast striker was sent off in the 117th minute for slapping the Manchester United defender – but now says that, if he knew he was going to get a red card, he would have hit the Serbian harder. Drogba, 30, had clashed with Vidic 18 months earlier, cutting his eye and loosening a tooth. And he is quoted in the Daily Star Sunday: “I have seen the match on video and I believe I should not have been sent off with three minutes to go. “If I had punched him, I would have understood. Now I wish I had.” That made me laugh tbh......

chrismada9 1,948
Yeah, he should have kicked him in the nuts too for good measure!!
misschief 24
Personally I think Drogba's gonna look an even bigger twat from half the stuff he's said in that book. Coming out with shit like that shows sod all remorse for what he did. Whilst some think its funny, the fact is he potentially cost Chelsea the CL trophy. Not something I find all that funny when I remember that night.
Kez 2,727
Try not to remember that night, I can see some good from us losing. We didnt get stuck with Grant. We've got Scolari And we've bounced back better than ever playing really good football.. I can see the CL trophy being ours this season
terry26 6
LOL well i agree with that if he was going to get sent off anyway he might have well made it worth while even for us watching

BlueLion. 21,491
This will end up like the Keane incident in 2002... got a five match ban I think.
Aesthetic Relic 301
This will end up like the Keane incident in 2002... got a five match ban I think. But didnt Keane say that he intended to do Haaland damage? DD has said he wished he had thumped Vidic....not quite the same.
warnie_666 1,081
But didnt Keane say that he intended to do Haaland damage? Yes he did confess that he intended to break his foot as a pay back. Got a 150000$ fine. Edited October 21, 2008 by warnie_666
