Real Madrid plot swoop for City striker Aguero by selling Higuain to Chelsea

Real Madrid want to fund a multi-million pound bid for Sergio Aguero by selling Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea this summer.

President Florentino Perez is desperate to sign the Manchester City striker and is willing to part with whatever money it takes to lure the Argentine to the Bernabeu.

To fund the ambitious offer, which City would be very reluctant to accept, Real want Higuain to move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea had a £33million bid accepted for the 24-year-old after he was recommended by senior players in Andre Villas-Boas's squad but he rejected the move.

Higuain has scored 17 goals this season but Perez wants a marquee striker and is determined to go back for Aguero, who he missed out on in the summer.

Aguero has been a sensation form for Roberto Mancini's side, scoring 18 goals in his 28 games so far as City aim to win the league title for the first time in 44 year.

One potential pitfall could be that Atletico Madrid, who sold Aguero to City, asked for assurances that he would not be sold to rivals Real within two years.

If their bold bid fails, Real are also considering Athletic Bilbao's Fernando Llorente.

It is likely to be a summer of change for Real, with manager Jose Mourinho likely to leave the Bernabeu, even if he beats Barelona to the title. Cristiano Ronaldo's future is also unclear, with Madrid fans frustrated by his attitude and recent performances.

There was a rumour, when Aguero signed for City, he's always had his long-term eye on Real Madrid. But being from Athletico, he couldn't go there directly, he wanted to be respectful. He did quickly deny it, but I wouldn't rule it out as being true.

I give Aguero two seasons at Manchester City tops.

No one has called us," the striker's representative reiterated to Marca.

"Until we win the Champions League, we will not move."

The capital-city side were linked with a move for Sergio Aguero in the summer before he joined Manchester City from Atletico Madrid and reports in Spain have resurfaced that Los Blancos could try to sign Higuain's countryman once more at the end of this term.

Only then, if a third main striker joined the Madrid squad, would the 24-year-old consider a move.

"If they bring Aguero in then we will start to listen to offers," Higuain senior admitted.

The forward has scored 14 goals in 19 La Liga appearances this term for the current Spanish top-flight pace-setters and is in contention to feature against Getafe on Saturday.

Yes dont want him :D

Can't see Higuain staying there, Higuain is a better goal scorer than Torres in my opinion, but Torres offers more than just being a goal scorer, can pass, cross, dribble etc. Don't think we should get Higuain because he wouldn't score a goal in our uncreative team. But he probably has a better attitude than Torres, not giving up constantly 24/7, and still taking 6 touches before hitting the fucking god damn ball.
