ZanSnake 1,211
I want Romelu Lukaku (or whatever the youngster's name is!).He is the perfect player to replace Drogba, and he is only 17. Already he is playing for one of the top teams in Belgian football, and would only be around £15 million to £20 million to sign. Would love to see a player who potential like him then already big names like Higuain who will want an demanding wage.
northernblue 2
Young players like that are always a gamble though aren't they? He is scoring goals in the Belgian league yes, but it is a big jump up to the Prem. It's great to sign those types of players but they are best of playing in the youth team/reserves for a few years first. I you want a player to slot straight into the first team then you have to spend money.
Tomlewis7 0
Heres a random fact. Higuain is only on £15,000 a week wages at Real Madrid.....What a burn. He might want to leave because they wont meet his new contract demands which are going up to a staggering...Wait for it...50,000 a week! LOL. This guy is pretty cheap by modern standards and a good finisher, apparently people say hes not that good at creating chances, only taking them, but either way, at Chelsea you get loads of chances as a striker. chrismada9 1,948
Gotta say it, wouldn't mind seeing him at the Bridge! Very clinical finisher. Might like to see us go for him if the demands for Aguero are too much!
1chelsea 864
i did not believe that g.higuain is No6 in castrol ranking ahead of torres who is No7 and aguero is No 56 if he is that good i will love his signing cos is cheaper compared to aguero
BlueLion. 21,491
I wouldn't worry about the Castrol Rankings, they also say Marcus Hahnemann is the world's best goalkeeper.
Cameron 30
Base our signings on castrol rankings. Whatever next? Edited May 31, 2010 by Cameron
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Sami Hyypia is above John Terry on the Castrol rankings. I think we definitely need to sign him up!!
zolayes 14,489
which is better unleaded or super unleaded ,,,according to Castrol rankings.......

LDN Blue 7,903
He's young & he's proven. Should we go for him, it could be a worthwhile signing.
CHOULO19 24,332
I think he's one of the best strikers in the world plus he's young, so he would be a perfect signing. But I have a feeling he would probably cost substantially more than 49m. Madmax 9,219
Buy as many strikers and forwards as you want, it means fuck all till we start providing them with service.
Krypt 241
Buy as many strikers and forwards as you want, it means fuck all till we start providing them with service.Exactly we need to address the right wing issue. this MUST be AVB's first port of call , or i am giving up hope
Peace. 4,352
I am for this one. He is young, talented and a good goal scorer. And maybe the more important thing is that he is on form. To pretend to be one of the biggest club, you have to possess a striker who scores on a regular basis. We do not have this.On the other hand, at the end of the season Anelka and Drogba are leaving, Kalou will probably follow them (even if he doesn't, we can't count on him). Thus, we will have three strikers : Sturridge, Lukaku and Torres. The first one isn't considered as a striker, the second is no near to be ready, and as for the third... Do I need to explain ? So it is not like if we will have a pair fo world-class strikers..Though, I am not sure about the price...

Krypt 241
Why would Madrid sell him though?Exactly its not like they a riddled with top strikers , he is much better then Benzema would love him here , but how would that help Torres ? manpe 10,861
Sorry but no way is Real going to sell Higuain, the guy is an immense goal scoring machine... I would love him to be here, one of the best finishers out there. But sadly I can't see it happening. Tbh I've been dreaming of Higuain for a long time, I just haven't said anything because he seems like an unrealistic target... on the other hand, so did Torres. I don't rate Benzema as highly as Higuain.
