Watched Destroyer last night which is part of the screener season https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7137380/

All the write ups I had seen say is Nicole Kidmans best work!

All she's dome that I can see is left off all her smack, got some shadey looking wig and talks like she smokes as much as Sarri does! She looks like she could give the crack whores under Brixton rail bridge a run for their money!

But apart from a 1000 yard stare. a bad case of BO and a worse case of halitosis and the make up dept not needing to do owt she didn't need to do much.

Crap ending that I didn't understand.

Lol you should write film reviews geez. Better than that Mark Kermode.

Might give that a watch -like Kidman -in Dead Calm and stuff -Eyes Wide Shut , nice tush as well :o

Wop't see ayy tush in that bud. and it would be a scabby hairy one if it looks owt like her boat!

But maybe you can fill me in on the ending after you watch it!

Just watched London Fields https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1273221/

Ambver Heard is gorgeous! Another one I had no idea about the ending! I like to think i can sort out weirdness but sometimes I just draw a blank .

Someone will have to explain the why bit at the end!!

Watched a Monster calls again.. Still as traumatic as I remember.

Going to see Happy Death day 2 on Friday.. Liked the first. Don't know if needs a 2nd but hey ho

Looking forward to seeing how the Lion King turns out when it comes out.

LOL You seem to like your horror flicks and then you go to the opposite end with The Lion King!  Gotta love you girls! Just love that you never know whats in their minds no matter how long you know them.

I've seemed to watched a few with sad endings lately and I think I need some feel good endings. So I juist got Mary Poppins lol Will see if it is as good as the original or shoulda just gone and flied a kite!

Watched Origin Unknown https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4575328/  Have you noticed how so many of these movies about Artificial Intelligence that all the computers/robots begin learning on their own and decide they think the best option for humans to live is to kill us all and start fresh!  I know thats what I'd llke to do with Chelsea but I couldn't handle having to wait the millions of years to get mankind back again!

King Of Thieves https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5789976/ They wanted to do another 'hip' Brit cops n robbers but it came out weak. Maybe the actors were not strong enough or too old? Dunno.

Dark Places https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2402101/   Another of Charlize Theron(want to see her in the Chelsea shirt - nothing else! Drooool! But good film. Nice twist at the end.

Venom https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1270797/   Good watching how the relationship developed with the symbiote inside him. Dont know when rge follow up will be out.

I watched Hellvoy but never got rounf to watching Hellboy 2 - Golden Army so just grabbed it. The NEW Hellboy looks really good with some interesting 'baddies' in it/ I like Mila Jovovich

Just made this header for TorrenttDay

KNIFE + HEART

From the wild and twisted mind of visionary filmmaker Yann Gonzalez comes a kinky queer horror odyssey like no other. Vanessa Paradis plays Anne, a ruthless gay porn producer working in Paris in 1979. Nursing a serious broken heart following the dramatic breakdown of her relationship with girlfriend Lois, Anne launches herself into her latest and most ambitious film production. But as shooting gets underway, one of her stars is brutally murdered. Soon it becomes terrifyingly clear that a homicidal maniac is intent on bumping off the cast, one by one. Positively dripping with style and visual invention, Gonzalez’s libidinous delight comes steeped in playful genre references, owing as much to the opulent cinema of Dario Argento as it does the brash fetishism of William Friedkin’s Cruising.

M83 (Anthony Gonvalez is the lead singer, he is the director Yann's brother) does the soundtrack

Knife + Heart Soundtrack

It was such a pleasure to compose the soundtrack alongside Nicolas Fromageau for my brother Yann Gonzalez’s film Knife + Heart; it’s my third feature film soundtrack and the second for my brother’s films, following You and the Night. *A

Never really found it funny. But I have that problem with many comedies

Watched a few yesterday. Stayed in bed most of the day lol

Rewatched Aromic Blond cause I love Charlize Theron, (I had a hall pass for her lol)

Lucy. Again I love Scarlett Johansson. It was one of the few films where the main character turns into some super/outrageous and not wanted to kill all of mankind!

Holmes and Watson - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1255919/  ABSOLUTE UTTER PUTRID SHITE!!!

Then I got into a diferent mood lol

Decided to watch as much as I could find about LSD

So grabbed lots of films/documentaries on Hunter S Thompson. I know the guy was out there but he wrote a lot of great articles for Rolling Stone. Did a lood one on Casius Clays Rumble in the Jungle.  Fear and Loathing On The Campaign Trail in '72 following Nixon who he really hated with a passion. But he loved McGovern. He did a interview with Clinton, Great one on Watergate. LOADS! You can read them all on the Rolling Stone website https://www.rollingstone.com/author/hunter-s-thompson/page/2/   Some really good documentaries about him. Like Fear.And.Loathing.In.Gonzovision, The Crazy Never Die, Breakfast With Hunter, Buy The Ticket And Take The Ride,

Also some docs about Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters and his association with Owsley - made White lightning and gave it to the Pranksers for their acid tests and to Leary to Turn on Tune In and Drop Out! lol  / Hoffman - 1st synthesized LSD in 1936 trying to make a drug to help the respiratory system. But he had accidentally put his finger into it and it got into his mouth!! And on the way home on his push bike he started to trip! Just imagine that lol /  Nicholas Sand and Tim Scully  - made Orange Sunshine - The.Sunshine.Makers  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4456270/

Heres the Hunter S Thompson Buy The Ticket and Take The Ride doc

I enjoyed Us very much aswell. The first 90 minutes were a weird mixture of funniness and tension but the last 30 made everyone shut up in the theatre, it was thrilling. Very special movie.

I can relate, I am 25 and I have to show my ID like every time I buy beer :)

I watch Columbo episodes these days.
Never gets boring.
Also "36 hours". I was very impressed when I first saw it as a child so I managed to google out the title. James Garner plays the hero, but the plot is no good really.
An amateur detective would have deduced he was telling the truth about Normandy.

Seen Avengers End Game on Friday. I was speechless at it, 11 years in the making, 22 movies, a great movie with a very interesting mixture of certain character arcs starting/finishing and a great conclusion for the whole long term vision Marvel has been bulding in the first 3 phases. Very excited to see where they go from here and also to see what DC do with the new Wonder Woman and Batman films (wont even scratch the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy, DC should of just left it at that as opposed to the whole Batman vs Superman and Justice League shite which totally ruined Batman for me after Nolan successfully recreated the character in film in a much more darker, realisitc way althought I felt Ben Affleck was a decent actor to be Batman just the movies lacked everything Nolans trilogy had in terms of story telling, realism, origin story etc and quite frankly I think Christian Bale pulled the character off better) which is probably not gonna be out for another 2 years at least. Also very excited for John Wick 3 on the 17th of May, cant beat Keanu Reeves.
