Luke 60
I really want Joe to stay, if I was him, and I loved Chelsea as much as he says he does, just accept what they are offering, get on the pitch and prove you deserve another 'improved' contract next summer. RX8 40
I´ll be sorry if he has to go... but after the ligament problem Joe is not the same..... the problema with Chelsea is that we need to start with the new Generation of player and if Joe can Play at the top level it will be hard to keep him.Remember that Stoch is playing great futbol at Tweente and the way we are playing Joe Need to be Better than Anelka or Malouda and that is hard to see right now... The only way he may play is that ANchelotti decide to play Joe insted of Ballack... but at the point I belive that Anchelotti will give Essien the place before J. Cole. .Cee 50
If he loves the club as much as he says he does then he will accept that he wont get a pay rise and stay with us.I LOL'ed. Astouding naivete, Kez. I really want Joe to stay, if I was him, and I loved Chelsea as much as he says he does, just accept what they are offering, get on the pitch and prove you deserve another 'improved' contract next summer. If his agent knows Joe can get a better deal elsewhere than what we're offering him, he'll be off like a bird. .Cee 50
I hope he proves you wrong.I hope so, too. Then again, if he does sign, it will be because he can't find a better deal anywhere else IMO. Edited March 25, 2010 by .Citra
Kez 2,727
I LOL'ed. Astouding naivete, Kez. No it's not because I know it's not going to happen. the wes 7,212
Joe Cole is edging closer to the Chelsea exit door. The Daily Express says Cole’s position at Chelsea is growing more tenuous by the day. England midfielder Cole, who has had a miserable season, wants to be in the same wage bracket as Michael Ballack and Michael Essien on about £120,000 a week, but Chelsea are refusing to budge on their offer of £100,000. If things cannot be resolved, the FA Cup final against Portsmouth at Wembley on May 15 could be the last game in a Chelsea shirt for Cole. Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with moves for Cole, 28, who will be out of contract in June, as have his old club West Ham, Everton and Tottenham.Daily Express

Term-X 7,891
both kakuta and stoch should be qualified as homegrown playertrue, although it's good to have english players in the team.but those wages he wants are ridiculous considering j.cole is no longer a first team player. BlueLion. 21,491
Joe's not willing to accept £100,000 a week? If that's the case he can go! I love him, but what has he done to earn £120,000 a week? He's been constantly injured and the mere concept of form doesn't seem applicable to him anymore.
