kepa is not bad, I just say that for the same money one club took a great gk, chelsea took a potentially great gk

What part of Alisson turned us down is unclear?

I love Kepa:wub:

Same for Rudiger

Kante

RLC

the Jorginho of late (he has really come on at the end)

CHO

Ampadu

and hopefully soon Pulisic (yes I have been a sceptic, but he is now ours so I hope he blows up)

and Reece James

I also hope Fikayo Tomori, Jay Dasilva, Mason Mount, Trevoh Chalobah, Dujon Sterling, Tammy, and Clarke-Salter come good someday (odds are very low they all make the cut)

due to bans we may have to call back Mario Pašalić (I am the only one who thinks this I am fairly sure), Happy (absolutely), Bakayoko (call me insane but I still think, given the right role and coaching he can be a beast, just probably not here), and Morata (eeeek), Ola Aina (if Torino is persuaded to not buy him, and we could then ABSOLUTELY sell Zappacosta now) and maybe even Bats (eeeeeek) (at least for 2019-20, then if they are still meh, sell sell sell)

anyone not listed (and even some of those as well) are going to have to be liquidated eventually (unless, and I have my doubts, AC keeps improving) Yes, that includes Azpi, his only true place now is as a reserve (or starting in a pinch CB, he is simply not good enough at RB in our system) Moses, Kenedy, Musonda, and Baba are hopeless, the rest of the loan army are dregs (what disappointments Kasey Palmer, Lewis Baker, Izzy Brown, and Matt Miazga have turned out to be)

They can knock all they like, he's got six years left on his deal.

we'll see where it goes, i would love for us to have a long term keeper again, just like Cech and ignore all the barking from Madrid and co.

Kepa hardly looks like someone who's desperate to play for Real Madrid. He happily signed a new contract with Athletic after Zidane blocked the move to Real last year, well knowing that the high release clause could have potentially seen clubs shy away from the fee.

Christ!

Kepa was a bit drunk today, punching away balls when he should have caught them. Otherwise, had a fine save late on and nothing much else to do.

Especially in the first half! Seemed to got it together the 2nd.

Keep forgetting there was the whole crazy cup sub moment months ago glad it didn't lead to anything major.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga might start the match against the Faroe Islands tomorrow night, while Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea could be benched.

Kepa was brilliant this season. Style is unorthodox so people think it isn't safe. Same thing with DDG. People said he wasn't safe because he was stopping shots with his feet instead of getting down low and palming away... so much for that.

My assessment would be that he wasnt brilliant he was decent who surely improved towards the end... there were many times where his decision making was way off but first season I'm hoping he take the route that De Gea took post his first season at United where his technique was not exactly a GK is coached for ... But fingers crossed.

On De Gea, he did change that post his first season ... his eye - feet co-ordination was brilliant and he changed that to eye - hand one after 2 season at United. I can imagine his feet tied and the coach asking him to use the hands ... very basic level but very effective.

“Louca varrida” (br-pt) which closely translates to batshit crazy! Funnest sayings in both languages too imo.

honestly put Alonso there and he’s twice the player bakayoko is. Better first touch, passing, just as tall and slow, but can score too. No, he will not win you over, just pointing out how bad bakayoko is. ;)

kepa’s strong end of season is definitely promising. He’s got potential and I’m happy that he’s definitely at least a good goalie. Whether he will eventually become a great goalie, well that’s still to be decided.

Bakayoko is streets ahead of Alonso in pace.

Surprised no one has mentioned this but he has started both games for Spain in their Euro qualifiers this week. DDG was left on the bench. Massive achievement and deserved. Has had his errors but on the whole has been very good this season and impressed. Shows how underwhelming DDG has been. Massive for him

so that means Madrid will come calling in the future then...
