But the former West Ham goalkeeper is not convinced Willian wants to make the move to Old Trafford.

That’s because Antonio Conte has been replaced by Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.

Martial is looking for an exit from Manchester United after falling behind Alexis Sanchez and Marcus Rashford in the pecking order.

“It makes a whole lot of sense,” Hislop said of a potential swap.

“Martial wants out quite clearly.

“No question if Antonio Conte had stayed, I’m not sure how Willian stays on.

“Have things changed with Willian with Sarri coming in?

“Has that dynamic changed? You’d have to assume yes, right now.

So Martial out yes, I’m not sure whether the other piece of the puzzle fits.”

Willian has seemed to indicate he is happy at Chelsea for now though.

“No, I’m back to England. I’m very happy at Chelsea,” he told Globo Esporte when questioned on his future.

"Well its all gone quiet over there!!!" Nothing new at all about the potential swap. Probably waiting to see Wlilian. I wonder how much his fine will be? Normally 2 weeks wages for just being late.  So over a week might be a months?

It does seem to be a deal which stares you in the face Martial for Willian.  Strong links with both players to each club. Shame it was the Sunday Mirror or i'd be curious about Martial being left out as the swap deal rumour gets reported.   A lot of Utd fans, as mentioned, are convinced its to us with Willian to them.  

 

It'll get reported as a fitness reason though as he missed days of training with his childs birth, but the deal would have to get put into motion sharpish to beat the deadline

 

Can't rule out the Spuds though as part of Alderweireld deal
