This is too true. I've literally just said there now that this would be another nail in the mediocrity coffin for us. Clubs going backwards now and it's genuinely starting to anger me. For ages people have been suggesting Butland and some went as far as saying he'd be an upgrade on Tibo, now it could be happening goalposts are changing big time  However now the posts are now in the right place, he would be a horrible signing.

Before his injury Butland was seen as the best English goalie. Stick a decent defence in front of him and he won’t do too badly. Better than giraffe neck who has the biggest gob in the world.

Every goalie looks better with a solid defence. Courtois at A.Madrid look unstoppable, then here came here and couldn’t save a near post shot to save his life.
