Oscar was not ideal but Mount has long ride to reach prime Oscar level. He was same age as Mount in his first year here and he had 12 goals and 12 assists. 11/10 season after. He was also great in CL. 8g and 8a in 1841 minutes (equals 20 games) in 4 seasons. 5 in first season, Mount is yet to do anything in CL. Give the lad a chance mate, he is built for pl, im sure in seasons to come he will sort that out. Supermonkey92 1,428 Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 IF we get a proper DM (Kante and Jorginho aren't good enough in that role imo) I could see him in the box to box role in a 3 as opposed to the most attacking midfielder. His forward passing from deep impressed me again. Still young and his growth means his position is still malleable. Not in the big games, but him and ziyech are hard working enough to make a midfield 3 work IF we have a great dm behind. Which we don't.
