Tomlewis7 0
I wouldent be too sad to see that swap go through. I certainly dont think Deco will really feature in our plans for next season majorly, and as much as i love Riccy, his time has kinda been and gone. I cant see him having another great season for Chelsea
Milan 17,957
The negotiations with Inter have already started, according to Moratti.

the wes 7,212
http://www.tribalfootball.com/category/clubs/Chelsea Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho admits it is not certain he will move to Inter Milan as he considers whether to remain at Stamford Bridge. The Italian club's president Massimo Moratti said manager and former Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho has instructed him to sign Carvalho and Deco. "Inter have expressed their interest," Carvalho told Gazzetta dello Sport. "But the two clubs have to reach an agreement so there's a lot of work left to do and then they need to speak to me because I have a contract with Chelsea." Carvalho also said he is yet to speak to Mourinho about a potential move. "I have not spoken to Mourinho in a long time and I have neither spoken to our new (Chelsea) manager (Carlo Ancelotti)," he said. "Next week I will meet the club and discuss my future. "This year it hasn't gone well at Chelsea because I was injured," he said. "But prior to that, I had enjoyed four fantastic seasons and you don't forget that. "(Deco's) situation and mine are very different. "I have been at Chelsea for five years while he has only been there one. I am not sure if he wants to change. "With regards to me, my last year here was one to forget about but I could also remain. "But if Chelsea wants to sell me that's fine by me." Wxgba 306
If he's not too bothered about staying, I'd let him go whilst we can still get a bit of money for him. If we wait around for too long, his value will go down, and not as many clubs will want to buy him. I'm sure we could bring in a replacement for him. With regards to Deco; I really do hope he goes. Kez 2,727
Carvalho leaving carves the way for Mancienne breaking through. Plus we have Alex who's had a good season
EskWeston 696
Looks like Carvalho is definately on his way out now... With his age and with his injury problems and with Mancienne ready to come through it would not hurt us. Alex had a fantastic season, Ivanovic has also looked class when played so we are more than capable of coping with Carvalho's absense. chrismada9 1,948
Chelsea's deal to sell Ricardo Carvalho and Deco to Inter Milan is close to collapse after the Italian club demanded that they are allowed to sign both players for free. Inter had hoped to tempt Chelsea into a player-swap deal or a bid for either Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maicon but the Premier League club has insisted that it wants £12 million cash for the Portuguese internationals. Both Deco and Carvalho have made clear that they want to leave Stamford Bridge and are furious that the moves have stalled. Inter are now turning their attentions to signing William Gallas from Arsenal, who may be sold for around £4 million, having indicated that with just one year left on his contract he is reluctant to discuss a new deal. However on Wednesday Gallas insisted he was happy to stay at the Emirates. Chelsea have been surprised at Inter's tactics, prolonging negotiations which had appeared close to being settled two weeks ago. The club are continuing their own rebuilding plans and are close on three deals. They may announce the first of those, the free signing of Ross Turnbull from Middlesbrough, by the end of this week. The goalkeeper will compete with Henrique Hilario, who has not been released by Chelsea, to be Petr Cech's understudy. Chelsea are also close to announcing the arrival of Yuri Zhirkov from CSKA Moscow for £18 million and Daniel Sturridge from Manchester City for a fee to be settled by a tribunal. Chelsea are continuing to track both Franck Ribery and Andrea Pirlo. --------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...lan-stalls.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- FUCK!

Elliott 7
How dare they demand the players for free? Carvalho is worth £12million alone, Deco £5m. We offer them both at a cut price of £12m in total and they should be happy as a pig in muck. I don't see why we should be desperate to sell either player however. Another club will come in for them. BlueLion. 21,491
They wanted them for free? Inter can collectively suck my bollocks, then maybe rub some cream into them, before sucking them so more.
