I haven't seen much of Tomori this season what's he like in the air ??

This video shows hes good at reading the game he's looks quick as well

Pace is a big part of his game. At youth level his football when bringing the ball out from the back was an important contribution to the development sides he played in. I don't think it'll rate as outstanding at the top level however. He won't be a liability though.

Aké is 1.80m tall, which is reall small for a CB. (I am 183cm which is exactly 6 feet so Ake should be less than 6). Puyol was 178 :)

Fabio Cannavaro was 176cm and won player of the year in 2006.

Why would we sell him?

At least loan him to PL for a year and then we shall see. If we sell, include buy back clause.

If we keep Zouma, I would loam Tomori out to an EPL team where he gets massive minutes, same (but not necessarily EPL) for Clarke-Salter, Sterling, and Ampadu (he REALLY needs playing time)

that still leaves us with 6 possible CB's

Rudiger (once fit)

Luiz

AC

Zouma

Azpi (can play CB)

Reece James (can play CB)

IF we sell Zouma, then I would keep Tomori, as he will get playing time, and Lamps knows him like the back of his hand

IF we loan out Reece (huge mistake in my book, we should sell Zappacosta), then obviously we are probably keeping Happy, so Tomori needs to go out on loan still

IF we somehow stupidly sell Happy and loan out Reece, then 100000% Tomori needs to stay with us, if not, we are asking for huge issues, as we simply cannot roll with just 2 healthy (atm) CB's and Azpi as a the backup (as that, if Azpi has to play CB, means Zappocosta is our starting RB, eeeek and we would have ZERO backup at both CB and RB, as this scenario assumes Rudiger is not back yet)

loan him out

if he has a bad year, sell him

if not

pull him and sell Everton Zouma next summer

pointless, if we are keeping Zouma, to carry 5  CB's, especially as Reece and Azpi can both play there as well

Everton are considering moves for Southampton and Gabon midfielder Mario Lemina, 25, and Chelsea and England Under-21 defender Fikayo Tomori, 21. (Sky Sports)

Sky sports reporting it now

yes, that is what I replied to and why I said it :)

25 man final roster for me is

GK Kepa

GK Willie

GK Cumming

CB Rudiger

CB AC

CB Luiz

CB Zouma

LB Emerson

LB Alonso

RB/CB Azpi

RB/CB Reece James

DH DMF Jorginho

DH DMF Kovacic

CMF/Pivot Kante

AMF RLC

AMF/No. 10  Mount

AMF/Winger Barkley

LW Willian

LW CHO

RW Pulisic

RW Pedro

Utility Winger/MF/Fulback/Wingback (on team due to injuries) Kenedy

CF Giroud

CF Bats

CF Tammy

sell Zappa, Baka, Drinkwater blah blah blah

next year 8 to 10 of those 25 need to be sold

maybe keep one of the strikers and maybe keep Willie

But

Zouma, Luiz, Alonso, Willian, Pedro, Kenedy and 2 of the 3 strikers (or all 3) need to GO GO GO

Bristol City Join Everton, Burnley In Race For Chelsea Defender

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=33156

Bristol City are the latest club being linked with a summer move for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.

Bristol Post says Bristol City are in the market for a central defender following the sale of Adam Webster to Brighton & Hove and Tomori is among the players being considered.

It would be difficult for the Robins to get the deal over the line as they face competition from Premier League clubs including Everton and Burnley.

That said, Bristol City have a good relationship with Chelsea with Tammy Abraham spending the whole of the 2016-2017 season on loan at Ashton Gate.

Doubts have started emerging over Tomori's future at Stamford Bridge after he was not handed a run-out in Chelsea's final pre-season fixture against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday evening.

The youngster shone for Derby County last season, winning the club's Player of Season award.

Really should be targeting a PL loan. Has spent last 2 seasons on loan in Championship and was voted POTY at Derby last season so if he goes on loan to Championship team again, he is not really kicking on. Saw Everton were linked with him. not sure what is going on there but difficulty is, he won't be guaranteed starter for CB at any PL team he goes to and a lot of teams may hesitate about starting him in PL due to his height, but he will just have to earn his place.
