A senior FA source said last night: “We were the first people to launch an inquiry and only put it on hold at the request of the Crown Prosecution Service.

“Now the trial has been concluded we will look at it again — including all evidence given in court.

“In the light of Terry being cleared of racial abuse by a court it is unlikely that we will uncover further evidence on that. But there could be charges of ‘bringing the game into disrepute’ and using ‘offensive, insulting and or abusive language’.”

Both stars admitted as much on oath during the trial so can expect a ban of at least two matches.

FA are full of bullshit. Terry found by a proper court that he didn't make a racist remark, so the FA shouldn't be allowed to ban him for it if the court has already proved his innocence. So what are they gonna do ban him for bad language, when it was picked up by one of the hundred cameras, and was slowed down to prove what he said... If they start doing that then they may as well ban half the bloody premier league. Watch each match and whenever you see someone saying anything bad, film it and send it to them... The FA should grow a pair and stop bowing to media bullshit, to satisfy all the wankers who are struggling to sleep due to all this eledged "racism" in football. Really starting to piss me off. Only good news is we now know that had the court said it was guilty the FA would have definately banned him for a long period of time... If the FA wanted to ban him regardless of outcome they should've done it from the start then added to if found guitly.The situation happened ages ago.The verdict has been reached and obviously not many still see him as innocent but hey.Time to move on now.
