maybe I do need to grow up :) but the Chelsea fans have always been loyal to mourinho up till he got sacked so he should respect the Chelsea fans back with not joining utd

Mourinho is one of us - we let him go. There are precious few jobs around for a man of his calibre so do you want to call him a wanker for choosing one where he'll get the backing of the board?

Come on mate. Passions are running high but you don't mean it when you call him a wanker do you?

Am I missing something "one of us" means he is one of the supporters right?

Cech, Lampard, and Mourinho are club legends and they will never be forgotten for their contribution. But they are not "one of us" they are not supporters of the club. A supporter of the club would never support a rival club. You, me, or anyone else on this forum would never support a rival club. How can someone claim he is one of the supporters if he is managing a rival club.

As I said nothing against Mourinho, Cech, or Lampard. In fact Lamps is my all time fav player.

Some have been loyal, some here hated him when we were winning. Don't forget FSW is doing so poorly at Real, Perez apparently wants Mou back.

If he manages United, it's just a job for him, Chelsea will always be his number one, but the board sacked him.

Yes, i would prefer seeing him in Spain, i need a La Liga subscription asap. Hope he can break Barca, again. :D

Yes, i would prefer that too. But i don't want to take away what's very important to Jose Mourinho: being a football manager.

I think he would like to stay in England, maybe a smaller club would be better for us, but a man with his credentials will go to a top club, that where he belongs, imo.

Lampard went straight to City, Cech to Arsenal, they all want to work, no, sitting on the bench isn't the same, i respect their decision.

They gave their all for our club, they aren't slaves, in the future they can do whatever they want, that won't change the past and the great time we had, imo.

Agree to disagree, mate.

The club sacked him twice, what do you expect him to do at 52 years old with another 15-20 years in front of him? To retire? No matter how people look at him, he's still an elite manager that is wanted by the biggest clubs and there are not so many big clubs where he can go. You can't expect him to coach Crystal Palace or QPR. His family loves England, and for him his family is also very important:

“My passion for England starts with my passion for English football. The life in England comes after that. I came to England for the first time because I wanted so much to have the experience of English football. After that, yes, you learn how to love to live in England – particularly in London – and obviously to be back for the second time was also a factor because working in Portugal, Spain, Italy, obviously in London I have a little bit more space to live with my family and a normal life. England and London gives a privacy we can’t get anywhere else.
