CHOULO19 24,332
Why do people always respond with phrases like " like who" " he's not available" in virtually every transfer thread. Every single player bar messi and Ronaldo are available for a price. The question is whether A)we have the funds and B ) if we are willing to spend the amount it would require to buy world class players. Players like Isco,Pogba, Reus, Varane et al are far from unattainable.Really? How much is JT available for? Thibaut? Hazard? Costa? If a player doesn't want to leave, or if he has offers from other clubs he prefers then "he is not available".
We Hate Scouse 10,326
He can spoke to Pedro and not to Barca...Yeah exactly. You're meant to get a clubs permission before you speak to a player otherwise it is tapping up...

There are very few players that would happily stay put if a huge offer came in. Reus, Pogba, Varane (possibly), etc. If any club put their money where their mouth is; they would come. But Pogba will lost likely prefer other options and Varane may well want to stay if Rafa is guaranteeing him a starting spot, why would he leave? If he wants Pepe and Ramos starting, Varane will be stuck on the bench. I personally doubt he wants to be playing back up a year before the Euros in his home nation. JaKstone 307
Abidal, who is part of Joan Laporta's presidential campaign and is to be named the club's sporting director if he wins the forthcoming election, insists that the 27-year-old is still a key part of the team and must stay where he is."Players such as Pedro cannot be allowed to go," he said. "I know him as a player but also as a person. He is a player who fits into the first team very well. When we won everything in 2009, the most important goals were his. Tomo 21,751
let's not get carried away here. pedro is far away from being world class (He was impressive under pep mind) He's a hard working but limited player with very good finishing ability, nothing more. he's not exactly a marquee signing or the type of winger we have been waiting for. However his finishing ability will add value to the team and for that it's hard to say no.He's not world class but he has already shown he can work in a top team, one of the best ever no less. And like you said, he scores goals and apart from Costa, Hazard, Remy and an in form Oscar we hardly have any goals in the squad at all, I know JT and Ivan chip in with more than the average defender but we can't rely on goals from defence. Mechromancer 262
He can improve our squad, i suppose. Pedro only scored 6 goals in the past season. These are weak numbers. I mean, the guy plays in the most dominant team in Europe.
