I dont know if he's really the kind of guy we need..

He's a poacher and I feel like what we need is someone who can link up with Mata\Hazard\Oscar\Moses whatever and work with them to make the goal. I kinda feel like Falcao is used to get all the balls to his feet as he is the key man there, just like Ba was at Newcasle, and I feel like this style of play wont fit really well since Hazard and Mata love to keep the ball and pass between them.

Falcao has scored 26 goals in 31 appearences in La Liga this season and people deem him as the new Torres or going through a phase of decline.

Lol..

Get the fuck outta here!

I think he'll be far more involved than Ba, think we need someone who can just convert the chances Hazard and Mata create. We don't want to end up like Arsenal just passing it around, wasting chances

Yea I know we need that guy who can convert our chances..

But still I'm afraid that he'll be playing like Ba, like you said, not being involved.

La Liga: Diego Simeone confirms Luis Suarez admiration

Los Colchoneros are expected to have a huge war-chest to strengthen their return to the Champions League made possible by selling star Radamel Falcao to one of his rich European suitors.

Hopefully Zenit sign him to partner him with Hulk.

That way we get to avoid him, Atletico can sign Suarez and a team in our league gets weaker. :yay:

I've never seen someone who changes their view so drastically, I remember you had him on your avatar and were saying he was on of the best strikers you've seen...

This isn't just with Falcao similar u turns for a lot of things lol. no offence by the way.

If you forever 'stick to your guns' and never change your opinion about something or someone you can't evolve and grow. During his early days with Atletico I said he was one of the best finishers I've ever seen - which he still is.

Just like some people used to think Torres used to be the best striker in the world and would use him as their avatar have grown and changed their opinion of him :clown:

At least I didn't wait for the general media to start saying Falcao is incredibly overrated for me to form my new opinion

My point is - If certain football managers always stuck to their guns all these years and refused to evolve from a 4-4-2 formation, they'd likely see a downfall in themselves and their team. You eventually have to adapt to a 4-3-3, a 4-4-1-1 and so-on. You also have to change opinions about players depending on how they progress/regress and change your mind about whether you'd want them at your club or not depending on how your current team evolves. At one point, a season or 2 ago in our 4-3-3, Falcao was admittedly probably a player we could have used. A season or 2 on, he's no longer that player we need for a 4-2-3-1. We need a complete striker who'll track back and help with many more things than just scoring.

If I was under an impression a few years ago that he was the right guy for us and I hadn't changed my mind by now after many more signings and tactic tweaks I'd be an oblivious and ignorant fool.

Also, I've never said I've wanted him here; I never have and still don't (just because you recognize someone is good doesn't mean you want them at your team) and in the post of mine you've quoted, I haven't even said I've changed my view regarding whether he's a great striker or 'one of the best strikers I've seen' etc. or not
