Heisenberg 1,824
Well if Falcao signs we'll win the league easily.
Jype 6,398
Transfer rumours for January only two days after the summer window shut, are you kidding me? Can't we at least enjoy a couple of months without all these ridiculous rumours?
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I understand this can be annoying for some of you. However this is truly damn exciting. Falcao can definitely put us in that United/City bracket (as long as our defence gets back to some form of Solidness).
Ollie 4,400
Crazy that he's a big fan of Chelsea. Why did AVB not get him last season when he'd already coached him? It's a weird one. why and how did Atletico beat us to him. this Torres transfer is proving more of a disaster than meets the eye.

Tricky 301
Bahh!!! Save the cash and buy two world class DMs for our double pivot. Signing him for £45 million won't stop us being caught with our pants around our ankles like last Friday night.Anyone thinking another ridiculous bid for a striker is going to make us European number one have really missed a trick. No point scoring three if the opponent s score four.
Superblue 6,372
Crazy that he's a big fan of Chelsea. Why did AVB not get him last season when he'd already coached him? It's a weird one. why and how did Atletico beat us to him. this Torres transfer is proving more of a disaster than meets the eye.I really want Torres to be a success but his transfer was a complete and utter fucking disaster. We were struggling in January 2011 and Roman wanted to give the club some impetus to try and go for the Champions League. It was confirmed at the time that a few days before the end of the window we put in a combined bid in excess of £50m for Aguero and Godin at Atletico Madrid. It got rejected and Atletico told us they would sell to us in the summer.Roman however panicked at the season falling apart so spent £75m on David Luiz and Torres. The season still flopped and then the problems occured. Having already brought Torres, the club couldn't justify buying then Aguero in the summer who was basically ours for the taking, or Falcao who AVB I'm pretty sure wanted but the club wouldn't buy because they wanted Torres to be a success.Ironically in the short term buying Torres may have indirectly contributed to us finally winning the Champions League. With Falcao or Aguero, Drogba may have not had a sniff last season, and for how good both are and will continue to be, Drogba last season in the Champions League was a man possessed and quite frankly, unstoppable. Long term however, it's a problem unless Torres bangs in 25-30 goals a season over the next 3 years which is what Aguero and Falcao would almost guarantee. Ollie 4,400
There are many Chelsea fans on here, around Chelsea and around the world that are desperate for Torres to do well but the fact is i reckon honestly 100% of us know that the transfer has been a disaster even if they say different and try and deny it. I love him and the way he plays and some of the goals he's scored in his career but i look back and wish we never signed him. I think it's inevitable that if Falcao comes, Torres will be offered in exchange. Maybe £30m + Torres. I'd accept it right now if i'm honest. Jose M 140
Radamel Snr has refused to be drawn on that but did reveal the prolific marksman - the first man to net in successive Europa League finals - favours a move to the England's top-flight."There are three teams interested - Manchester City, Chelsea and a Russian team,’ said Falcao's father. "Falcao has always wanted to play in the Premier League."Ever since he was a boy he has loved Chelsea and has always thought it would be an honour to play for a big Premier League team."He added: "I don’t want to talk about any pre-agreements. I spoke to Falcao very briefly yesterday. The minimum release clause in his contract with Atletico Madrid is about 55million Euros, but Falcao doesn’t want to talk figures."http://www.sport360.com/article/falcaos-love-chelsea-father-reveals-premier-league-move-very-likely
termninja 5,290
If I was him I would really like to join a Premier League club. He is in his prime and it would be a shame to waste it in Spain battling for Champions League spot while Barca and RM battle for the League...I have been in absolute awe with Falcao for quite some time. Since AVB's season with Porto. I like everything about him. The way he moves, thinks, looks and plays. How he celebrates his goals and I especially love that thing of his when he just appears out of nowhere and scores the bloody goal. Should've signed him when he was at Porto...but, I do realize that AVB had a tough situation with Torres and Drogba both at the club and there was nothing he could do about them. I'm pretty sure Andre really wanted to bring him in...imagine a 33 year old manager waltzing into Gourlay's office and demanding for Drogba or Torres to leave the club so he could bring a player, at that moment less known then he is now, that scored a good number of goals in Portugal and Europa League?Atletico brought him in the end to be their main man while AVB was probably told that there is no space for a new striker because club couldn't offload Torres or Drogba. He was probably also told that the club wants to give Torres another chance and that Drogba could leave at the end of the season and that we will enter market for a new striker then. termninja 5,290
So, January is the right time?I would rather say, the right time is as soon as possible. January? Why not? He has enough quality to be an instant success and we should have money. If we begin to struggle and bad results begin to emerge, Falcao would be ideal to give us a lift.
