It's disgraceful that when one player after one fucking game plays good against us everyone wants him. I remember when we played Stoke two seasons ago, someone made a thread for Kenywn Jones, and the frightening thing is most people agreed about it.

Look Falcao is a cracking player, and probably the best finishers in the world, but he costs about 50 million. And he's currently 26 who will be turning 27 halfway through the season. Not a bad age at all but the price is just way too much. Instead of spending huge on a forward like this, go for someone else. To be honest i think we are way to late anyway, we don't have enough time to get a striker like Falcao or Cavani.

Remy is a possibility and he might be a great forward for us.

He is the best striker in the world and has been for a long time IMO. This isn't a "one game hit" transfer wish.

Next window IMO we should go for him, earlier this season the owner even accepted the idea of offers for him!. He is one of the best players in the world and is at a team that isn't even in the Champions League (believe it or not!). His movement, clinical finishing and footballing ability is perfect for us.

Actualy I meant this summer, which passed few hours ago.

There is still quite chance we will go after him in winter, but if he will play so well, im sure barca, real, city will all look after him and that will raise price on 60mio for sure. We should buy him right after his hattrick vs Bilbao; we would have him for 50mio and wouldnt play against him yesterday. Oh well

Falcao's transfer to any club at the moment would cost at least €60 million, that is the lowest estimate, Atletico paid Porto €40 million plus €7 million in add-ons for 80% of Falcao. The remaining 20% of Falcao is owned by GetiFute, an agency owned by Super Agent Jorge Mendes. Mendes is also the agent of Falcao. So without any added on profit, for Chelsea to buy 100% of Falcao (since co-ownership is banned in the Premier League) we would have to pay at least €60 million which is roughly £48 million. Since both parties would want to make a profit, my estimate of the final cost of Falcao would be between £60 million and £70 million.

Atletico may be forced to sell him though, they are not in the best of states financially and they were reported to have defaulted in the payment of an installment of the amount due to Porto. It could trigger a bidding war around Europe, the clubs that can afford him would include PSG, Man City, Chelsea, Madrid, Barcelona and Anzhi. He could potentially break Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer record.

Just speaking from a footballing perspective, I don't think there is an active striker that has the comparable movement and ball control. He can be running full speed and sell a defender on a dime all while slotting it into the top corner. He is nasty

Find that to be rather fishy or too convenient. I mean we have been linked with Falcao before and just because he scored a hat-trick against us yesterday, now they say we have a pre-arrangment to buy Falcao? Hope it is true but not buying it all at the moment.
