Don't want him either, never wanted him even when he was performing at a very high level at Atletico. It would be a disaster IMO.

Despiadado.Maleante 1,046
However, Mourinho did suggest a move for Monaco striker Falcao could be a possibility in the future. He said: "I have a team, but no striker. Falcao does not have a team. A player like him can't play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end [your career with]."
nyikolajevics 2,698
Signing him is not an option anymore. He just turned 28 and suffered a serious knee injury. He would be very expensive too. Too much risk.
The Skipper 20,609
Who then? Cavani? Costa? I wish we went for Cavani last summer. Wouldn't mind Costa though.
Rmpr 8,977
According to Ranieri his recovery is going so well that he'll make the WC.I hope it's true, Colombians bought 65k tickets for the World Cup and it would be a shame if their primary player couldnt participate...As for us signing him, I wouldnt mind it tbh. He is a fantastic player and people dont like to give him half the credit he deserves. He is way better than Diego Costa!I know he is coming out of a big knee injury, but he can definitely recover from it. Ronaldo (fat) had 2 of those more than a decade ago and he came back to win a WC in huge style. So did Adrian Peterson, in only 8 months btw. Not saying we shouldnt be worried, but it doesnt mean Falcao is done just because he had a knee injury.Of course I would prefer Cavani (I'd have actually signed him last summer), but if it is for the right amount (30-35mi), I cant see it doing us any harm... The only place to be 11,313
Signing him is not an option anymore. He just turned 28 and suffered a serious knee injury. He would be very expensive too. Too much risk. You have a point, but I think he might be just what we want IF he recovers from that injury. ACL injuries aren't all the same and players recover differently from them so I wouldn't write him off just yet. Yes, he would be expensive but if he scores goals like he has done then he could be the difference between winning a title and not winning a title.Jose has got us winning games against the 'big boys' without a striker for all intents, but we still need someone who can poke home a goal against the weaker teams. Look at that cross Ivanovic put in against Everton - that was tailor-made for a poacher like Falcao but Eto'o simply couldn't make it. Look at the chances we created against West Ham or even some of the breaks against West Brom. Those are the games crying out for an out and out striker. Special Juan 28,141
I see disaster if we got him, whilst you can never be sure exactly how an injury can effect a player I just have massive reservations now.Costa or Cavani.
Toli 977
would be a huge gamble. he has HUGE wages and Monaco wont sell him us for a penny neither. dont want him here, just smells like a 2nd torres scenario...go for cavani (even if unrealistic) or someone else but not Falcao. Falcao needs a system build upon him and we dont offer that type of system. at Madrid he was THE MAN and at Monaco he is also the number one man to play the ball to. Cavani would suit us much more. hard-working, good technique, team player etc etc. should have paid the 60 m back in the summer, but we decided to keep our pockets tight....it all depends on the fee in the end. if it is in something of the excess of 50 m +, than we would be just plain crazy to pay that much for Falcao, especially after this injury. and he wasnt playing great before it too
