Spike 12,049
Lol United would never sign Falcao. Doesn't suit them at all. Or who knows, maybe they would.. but he'll end up how Forlan was there most likely.I don't know. He is similar to Nistelrooy, Chicharito and Solskjaer, so old SAF knows a thing or two about goal poachers. Give the old cunt a little credit. blu35_army 551
there's one (so far) reliable source says that United will did an extraordinary signing next season,,and it's possibly Falcao. but they must sell Rooney to get a half cash for falcao's price. and,,i think we can get rooney for this situation... Leif 6,006
Let them have Falcao. Let's sign Rooney. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! We need more cunts at the club to compliment Terry and Cole
bababoom 4,478
Rooney would be a great signing for us, imagine him, Mata, Oscar and Hazard all playing together... Rooney under Mourinho (I'm getting ahead of myself) would be fascinating.

Every time I see him now he struggles to keep up with the tempo of games. Even Ferguson didn't trust him in the second leg against Real Madrid because his lack of energy and pace was a liability and preferred Nani and Welbeck. I think because he burst onto the scene so early he is burnt out. He has peaked and is on the way down, it would be another terrible signing on our part. Last season as a striker he scored 27 goals in the league, and a couple of years before that he scored 26, to say he's finished as a top level performer is ridiculous. He doesn't need that blistering acceleration he used to have as a teenager, his all around game is fantastic that's why Ferguson plays him in different positions, behind the striker, as a midfielder, on the left or right, and of course where he should play, as a striker. I agree that he doesn't have that acceleration anymore, but the people who say he lacks pace and energy are overreacting, look at this video, the top one is just from three years ago. Rmpr 8,977
If Manure sign Falcao and Chelsea sign Rooney, we will be the ones getting another flop!
The only place to be 11,313
The concern over Rooney will always be how long his body lasts. He's looked fat for the last couple of seasons and whilst that might not have affected his play, it will affect his longevity as a pro. He simply hasn't put the hard work in the last 10 years so spending money on him wouldn't be that wise in my opinion.

chrismada9 1,948
So where exactly would Falcao fit in amongst Rooney, van Persie and Welbeck...?... as opposed to us who only have Demba Ba as a recognised striker, providing Torres is the makeweight to any move we could make for him? football is such a stupid business sometimes! Santiago. 1,500
He can only decline. Negredo has 5 goals less then him and plays for a less talented club
Hutcho 8,443
Oh great. Wasn't overly fussed about us signing him, but united signing him is just gonna fuck us over probably. Don't particularly want rooney but not something i would be majorly against. Lewy would be great. Lewy, Lukaku, Hazard, Mata and oscar would be a title challenging attack, we just need a decent midfielder, and another CB, then add into that KDB etc, we would be ready to rumble. 'Just three years ago'???? Three years is a loooooong time in football.Rooney has always been a form player and never a consistent performer. He scores goals in bursts but there are weeks and months where he looks like an unfit amateur player. I have seen plenty of games this season alone where he looks fat, slow and his touch deserts him.You say he isn't done as a top level performer but at the Bernabeu in the first leg he looked so completely out of his depth and off the pace it was shocking. He didn't even make the team for the return leg. Against us at Old Trafford besides his fluky freekick goal he looked like a mess. He was a complete irrelevance for 70 minutes of that game. Bosnian Blue 2,471
Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see us hijacking the deal and then him flopping over here. Typical.
