Mundaka 243
Too expensive and too much of a risk in comparison with Cavani. Last months he hasn't even been that good (reason why real madrid withdrew). Lewandowski for me anyways.

Stats 7,142
6 Mins in he's scored already ... #SignFalcaoDon't really want him here because I don't want us spending that amount of money when I believe we have other good strikers (Lukaku and Ba) but Falcao does the job. He can be invisible during the game which I have noticed but he scored. Similar to RVN, gets you the goals and that matters.

At the end of the day if we do end up signing him... i don't think any sane chelsea fan would be upset really. Its not up to us the fans whether or not Abramovich is willing to pay that amount for him (which he probably is) After all he's a top top striker ! Because our rivals already DO have better strikers at their disposal: RVP and Aguero (Dzeko would go into personal preferences and characteristics). Leif 6,006
I think around 35%-45% of his goals (completely made up but in my opinion likely statistic) are penalties or pretty much tap-ins. He seems to score around 3-4 curlers from outside the box a season, with 2 'wundergoals'. I won't be convinced until he can hold up play, pass well, assist often, defend set-pieces & add to his work-rate.
Funkyflashman 187
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that this would be a bad move for us. Obviously I will never go so far as to say that I categorically do not want Falcao here as he's undoubtedly a great player, but I think both in terms of finance and football matters that we can do a better job. Lukaku is, for me, ready to come back and start. He would be the 1st or 2nd choice in our squad right now, and he's performed well at West Brom against the same opponents that we play week in week out. There may be a stylistic change moving back to the Bridge as we are sure to be given less space to counter into, but i think he's shown enough ability to adapt, or at least have the chance to. If we are set on purchasing another striker, which incidentally I do agree with, I think it should be a move for quite such a megastar. We have other more pressing needs, and so a capable striker will do well in a stronger and more balanced team.
Heisenberg 1,824
Lewandowski is younger, better for us, and cheaper, he also want to move.

oliver01 1
have we not learned our mistakes from buying a £50million pound flop yes we want to see him do well but that money is gone.i would not like to see chelsea pay that kind of money again i would rather 2 deals for that. i can understand why torres dont score chelsea like to build up play and play around with the ball, not good for a man with no confidence, he needs that ball fed to him from a quick counter attack.chelsea style of play needs either of the following players tevez-suarez-villa-or drogba 1 year deal, (yes please chelsea board)falcao unproven and will be another waste of money. CHELSEA BOARD HERE ME OUT PLEASE.

We get the cross in and no one is there to attack the ball... Because a certain blonde prick is too busy fixing his hair"I won't be convinced until he can hold up play, pass well, assist often, defend set-pieces & add to his work-rate." - I watch this guy almost everyweek, he holds up play really well... take my word for it. His passing isnt amazing but its average and the reason he doesn't assist much is because in his team he is the man ! This is Falcao's game in a nutshell, gets the ball passes it on and makes his way to the box. Because Atletico is a counter-attacking side... more often than not he gets the ball and all of his team mates are behind him. 9 times out of 10 he is the furthest player up the pitch for his team. Defending of set-pieces wont be a problem because his aerial abilities are fantastic ! His work-rate isnt great i must say.. probably the one area of his game that our no.9 is better at... but look at Messi, the guy is one of the laziest players off the ball (besides the odd occasion where he gets fed up and sprints back to get the ball) but he still delivers ! Falcao comes to life when he is in and around the box... thats what makes him such an amazing player."He seems to score around 3-4 curlers from outside the box a season " - If by curlers you mean just goals in general from outside the box then .. i seriously dont know what to say to that. Gobsmacked !"...with 2 'wundergoals'.(Per Season) "- This lad scored two bicycle kicks in pre-season games and im pretty sure they were in consecutive games... you either have seen little to nothing of this guy or have the highest fucking standards of what qualifies to be a 'wondergoal'. For your benefit, here is a video of his goals. Spoiler alert tho... theyre not all tap ins/ penalties ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1r05RnlqJY

shellpick 13
Falcao is really a genius. It is quite understandable that people are afraid of him being overated due to the high price of him. But I must say he is the striker worthy of 50M pounds. Of course if we buy a player for such a high price we will concern. And I will not be trilled about it if that happens as well. Maybe there are some other very talented strikers that are much cheaper, but we may not be able to get another one as good as him. Buying him may not be the best choice for the club, but Falcao is surely the best forward we can buy at this moment.

Let's put it this way: RVP, Dzeko, Aguero, Lewandowsky, Cavani,..... NONE of them would score as much goals as Falcao does in Atletico Madrid. That team plays like shit (yeah, they're in third spot, but playing like shit.... i watch them EVERY single week,) and still he manages to score regulary. I think people need to consider that too: Its not the same to play in United, Dortmund,... that in average Atletico Madrid. I believe people underestimate him right now because he is not in the best form at the moment, but come on, would you have said that at the time he scored a hattrick against us in the supercup? What about Cavani, who's currently out scoring Falcao (last time I checked anyway) whilst at Napoli who are arguably as "average" as Atletico? I said it from day one, Falcao is an immense striker, has the most lethal finish in world football when on form but he doesn't fit in the style we're trying to implement here at CFC and frankly the money we have to offer to get him is too much. Cavani is a much better fit for this team and would be as expensive - frankly if we were to pick a big money striker I'd pick Cavani over Falcao everyday.
