Atlas Lion 1,223
Ummmmm let me think.....hmmmm....tough question. Use your brain, international form means nothing. Way to escape the point entirely and blatantly avoid variables to suit your argument. Costa has had a hamstring issue, not even remotely close to what a torn ACL can cause physically but most important mentally which has affected Falcao blatantly. You're right, international tournaments mean fuck all, but injuries that can take a crucial toll on a players overall ability to perform does. Doesn't take much brain cells to figure that out.
supporter 3,088
Xavi Hernandez had a serious injury in 2006, and, after eight months of hard recovery, Xavi has won 4 Champions League. Not all knee injuries can retire a player.Knee injuries have changed a lot in the last few years. And I think Falcao is like an athlete. He needs a good preseason and the motivation of a manager like Mourinho to recover his best level. The big problem with Falcao has been that he tried to be fit for the World Cup 2014 in four months with an injury which needs 10 months to be fully recovered. I think that's the reason by which his body looks oxidized now.So Falcao needs to make a good full preseason to have a good physical form...Regards. Duppy Conqueror 1,539
Don`t worry aslong as Falcao plays good in his last game he will be seen as a great signing.. but his career will be seen as over if he doesn`t have a great game his first game for Chelsea..before his resurrection the following game.. Stats 7,145
Whatever happens we cannot lose Remy instead of Falcao. The Falcao of Porto/Atletico would make a goal out of anything. Now, he is almost invisible every game I see him.

Boring match because the buildup play is so poor. The problem with 442. I lost count at the amount of times they couldn't pass the ball out from the back, and the 2 strikers were just standing up there with no CAM behind to linkup. It was the same at United. He just failed to make those runs or make those movement he is known for. I just don't really have any faith in him being a success here. petre.ispirescu 4,928
Football's greatest strikers would have looked clueless in this Colombia team. Those full-backs and the two central midfielders are the biggest clowns you will see in this tournament.
ilovecolombia 25
Don't buy him he's a choker and a loser. Just like all Colombian players. We are all chokers and losers.Like all the critics say they were right. We only win because of the heat of Barranquilla. No matter if we play in Real Madrid and score tons of goals and assists you can't take away the fact that we are the same losers that lost to panama the copa america before last. Our team will always be losers. Our players are born losers. We are drug traders and prostitutes. Nothing more. There is nothing good about our culture or our team. We can not do anything good we are just losers losers losers losers losersFalcao isn't even 29 he's 32We'll always be losers
