Michael Essien

No disrespect to Essien but blimey, Milan these days is like a home for average, old and crocked players..

It says it's only an "idea" Milan are having and they only want him on loan till the end of the season because he is not cup-tied in the CL. So I can't see us agreeing to that.

Plus, I'd take everything out of Italy with a pinch of salt, even if it is the Gazetta.

Hardly detracts the point I made if they are having that thought to begin with, assuming if it's true. Whether we agree to that move is another issue.

Well I wasn't trying to prove that your point wasn't right. I was just clarifying what the article actually said.

And of course you'd say that about Milan you closet Inter fan

AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has insisted that no discussions have taken place to bring Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien to the San Siro, following speculation linking the Ghana international with a loan move.

In these days there are a lot of contracts, but there is not a negotiation open with Essien.

Fabien Piveteau, a representative of Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, claims to have received no approach from AC Milan but has refused to rule out a switch to Italy. Speaking to spaziomilan.it, he said: "There is no negotiation and Milan would have to first talk with Chelsea. This would be a great opportunity. Milan are still in the Champions League and are a great club despite their recent difficulties. At Chelsea there is a lot of competition in midfield and Michael needs to play to get ready for the World Cup."

Sounds like there's little interest in him and his agents trying to stir something up.

According to Tribal Football, (are they reliable) Galatasaray are keen to offer Essien a path out of Chelsea, are seeking a temporary spell until the end of the season.

As long as Essien can't play against us in the UCL...I don't mind this deal
