BlueLion. 21,491
maybe Howard should get it then and he has a better beardThe best goalkeeper in the league this season IMO has been Rob Green, QPR would already have been relegated without him. DdG has been excellent though, I hate to admit.

BlueLion. 21,491
What about Soton's #1?Forster has had a good season also, but he benefits from a rigid and consistent defensive system in front of him. A goalkeeper is only as good as his defence... hence why Green and de Gea have been outstanding this season because they've constantly been let down by their defenders and yet still had solid seasons. The same applies to Courtois.

QPR fans I've spoken too are very 50/50 on him. My top three this year would have to be DDG, Thibaut and Lloris. Probably that order. I think he's been excellent for them. I can't name one goalkeeper who hasn't made a catalogue of howlers this season. It's been a shoddy performance from the league's so called elite stoppers. Polo7 3,496
How many goals and assists did Coutinho get? He scored a few stunners but surely he isnt better than Fabregas or Carzola?

bluesman2610 1,423
Shoot if they were going to use coutinho's stats to justify his inclusion both Cesc and our hated Oscar should be in the team.. The guy has 4 goals 4 assists in PL for the season
Barbara 15,149
Squawka Football @Squawka · 1h 1 hour ago There are 23 players in the Premier League this season to have created more chances than Philippe Coutinho (45).But for the PFA and some people on this forum, this guy is something special. I wonder what the other 23 are then...edit; although they got the wrong info, according to their own site, he's created 41, not
lionsden 4,689
For me cazorla, fonte, schneiderlin and Clyne should be in there. i base it on the overall consistency throughout the season which eliminates fabregas (Him and matic have been wank since late december),matic, ivanovic (defending is a major part of a fullbacks game and he's been anything but great in that department this season) and obviously cahill and coutinho. The real team of the year should have been.De gea clyne,JT, Fonte ,Bertrand schneiderlin, Cazorla, Hazard, sanchez, Kane and costaI can make a case that Sanchez disappeared from mid Jan to late feb as well but he's still been more consistent than the rest and his seamless adaptation to a new league makes it pretty tough to leave him out.
