Courtois is still a young guy and don't forget that he was out for months this season. He made some mistakes and people are allowed to be unhappy with his performances,
i think, but i agree with you that going further and now questioning the Cech sale is over the top.
It's so easy with hindsight in footie these days, everyone on the internet can be a manager.

But in my view the case Fabregas is a different pair of shoes. Yes, he has improved, already started under the watch of Mourinho, but i'm also of the opinion that
because of the stature of Fabregas it could have been more. Because of his age he should be at his peak, he's on big money, he talks a lot of sense,
but he simply can't walk the talk.
He's a liability off the ball, yes he can pass a football, but he's part of the problem why we're open like a barn door against counter attacking football.
He can't run, his shooting from open play hasn't been good enough, his positioning is questionable... i'm not happy.
I wouldn't call him a cunt, that does neither of us any good, but if it's possible, i want him gone. Don't think it will happen, Chelsea is best for Fabregas, not the other way round.

Regards!

I don't have a problem with people being unhappy with his mistakes. That is normal. However when people go and start saying Cech this, Cech that, it confuses me. He has made some tremendous saves this season, combined with a lot of errors. Courtois has one bad season and is naive with the media now people are portraying him as inferior to Cech and a traitor. The truth is we can't be sure he wants to leave. Look at Hazard for instance, he was reportedly encouraging the idea of moving to PSG and now we are hearing from Hiddink, he wants to stay and rediscover his form here. So people should take it with a pinch of salt when Courtois talks about his future. Now if Arsenal won the title I could understand the anger etc but look they are trophyless despite bringing in Cech.

Regarding Fabregas, I agree that his shooting has definitely declined. At Arsenal he used to score a lot of long range specials. I agree with you about some of his flaws but then we get rid off him, we are getting rid off our best creative player and the best passer in the league. I mean I know he has been worse this season than last but he got over 15 assists last season right? That contributed to us winning our first league title for a near decade. We get rid off him then replace him with who? Pjanic? Good player and better keeping the ball under pressure but why not try them together if that is the case?

I know he has a tendency to struggle against teams that press him but then for all the teams that don't he is a major difference and it is these type of games that often are the difference between winning the title and not, as proved last season. But like I saw @CHOULO19 and @LondonsFinest point out Conte built a system around Pirlo and used his playmaking abilites as the main focus to get the best out of the team. As good as Pirlo was, even him in his prime would have the same problem as Fabregas in this system if he was pressed. However Conte bought players to give him freedom and get the best out of his passing. If he gets the right players we might be able to do the same with Fabregas.

Fabregas for me is a key player and he has shown enough sincce Hiddink has arrived to show he is a key player and must be kept around last season. If there are games where he might be vulnerable to being exposed then bench him. Simple as but selling him? Not even an option for me. Not when we have the best passer in the league and are looking to get back to our best next season and he is one of those who has shown post-Mourinho that he can be a big part of that. Genuinely shocked when I see people want him sold.

Sorry for the long post. Learning from the best :D

I just hate Harry Kane irrationally. Hate the club he plays for, hate the way he looks with that dumb hair style, his mutant face, how he always has that dopey look with his mouth open, and how he wears that fucking stupid looking skin tight shirt that none of his other teammates wear. Most of all I hate the media creaming themselves over everything he does.

He's a good player of course, but I'm not completely convinced he's "world class" yet like many seem to think. Let's see how he gets on against elite competition in the CL next season. I think he and most of this Spuds squad will find it tough.

I agree with the first part of your post but definitely not the latter.

I am so happy that finally England would have a good striker playing upfront. Yes, Kane is not world class, but thats an elite group, and i have no doubt that he will be part of that group in a few years. Yes, i do hate the club he plays for, the fans, his face, his weird voice, but there is no denying that the Kid is a very special talent.

Sorry for the late response, better late than never, i guess. :)
Sorry at Mods for wrong topic, but i can't see how i can display the code (after the update it seems different) and copy it myself in the right thread (Fabregas).

In terms of assists i agree with you. Fabregas can play the decisive pass, that's Pirlo esque, but here comes the problem, i don't see how Fabregas can make his team tick.
I'm under the impression that apart from a handful passes, he can't control the game, can't dictate the tempo, he simply doesn't have it in him.
There's a reason why he couldn't challenge an old Xavi at Barca, why Spain used him as a false 9 and why Chelsea have so many problems.
He can't be the central point of the play, he couldn't take over at his previous clubs, why should it happen now, remember, the guy's 28 years of age...

Pirlo had his second spring at Juve, Milan underestimated his qualities in the end, but before all of that, he showed that he can be the fulcrum of his team.
It worked out at Juve, but it happened in the Serie A, and the style of play is different there. It's not so much about the pace.
So i can't see how two bodyguards will be enough in England. Maybe some games, but someone will get tired sooner rather than later.
Yesterday i watched City vs. Madrid and the two Nando's put in quite a shift in the first half, later they faded (a bit) away and there's the problem.

Combining him with Pjanic?
In my view that would leave the door wide open to counter attacks, we're already having huge problems in that department;
centre-backs slow as fuck
Matic
Hazard
We can't have it all, as far as i'm concerned, i even would think between Hazard and Fabregas and because of the huge qualities of the Belgian and Conte's opinion,
i would prefer him over Fabregas.

Fabregas is a high profile player at Chelsea, 'unbenchable'. He wants to play most of the time, especially when the big boys come calling.
You can't have it both ways, either you live with his limitations or you try to sell him, imo.

People have to make up their minds what they really want, i want more soldiers, more compactness, and i don't see it happening with those flair players.
But i get that you're a connoisseur of the beautifulness of the passing, so i get why you'd like combining Fabregas and Pjanic.

Final words:
That was all for nothing, because i think Conte will stick with Fabregas. So many great coaches have seen so much in him, Conte will be the same.
I don't know if buying Pjanic is an option, maybe we'll see it happening here.
Maybe you'll be proven right, or not, would be a fun ride, anyway.

Regards!

Costa for his grinta. When he plays collectively (passing to his friends like he did last night) it helps the team to score many goals.

I think yesterday was the perfect example of Costa having support vs Costa by himself.
