Chelsea have set a final price to interested parties for Cuadrado: €34m. The leaders at #CFC will not budge or player will stay (Tuttosport)

#Juventus, #ASRoma and #Atletico are all interested in Cuadrado but #CFC would have to negotiate €34m fee; unwilling at present (Tuttosport)

I love it how they approach us to sign a player we have barely 6 months (meaning he has bunch of time left on his contract ) and expect to get him for peanuts :D 25m pounds is a fair price for Cuadrado, I I'd sell him if someone would match it and I knew with whom I would replace him.

Whilst I agree with a lot of what is said in this thread, I feel people have lost fait in him like they did with Willian and I think Willian has totally turned it around. Instead of spunking 50M on Sterling I am totally intrigued to see that if he stays what Jose can do with him. I mean it's easy to spend big dollar on Sterling etc but at the same time we have put faith in what our manager can do with players in certain situations.

For me personally he hasn't fully turned it around, sure he had a great 6 months but I'm not fully convinced that he'll keep it up for longer than that. Ofcourse I hope he does but I'm not sure that he will.

We do know that its not always easy to change clubs even in a players own country let alone moving to the PL where it must be a shock to the system. Whereas we get some that take to it like a duck to water others never adapt.

The problem we have is we expect people to make an instant change and because of our high expectancies and also because of the small size of our squad we need new players to hit the ground running.

I do feel sorry for alot of our lads who havent made that instant hit with both Jose and us and Im sure if we was a mid table club without the pressures of needing to fight for top 4 and yearly silverware we could afford to take a season or 2 to experiment and wear them in gradually.

But we ARE Chelsea and we do have a small squad so the need for us to sign complete,un injured, at the height of their game players is really important and tho its not nice to have to have a revolving door policy on imports sometimes it is understandable unfortunately.

IF he does end up going (last I read Juve were coming to talk to him http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/11/juventus-send-representatives-to-london-to-complete-transfer-of-chelseas-juan-cuadrado-5291521/) then I'm sure he wont be the last we do it to.

He is in FIFA cover wearing a Chelsea shirt. EA won't allow Chelsea to sell Cuadrado.

Yeah, I'm sure that pissing off EA is the biggest concern when it comes to a potential £30M transfer.

EA is a Chelsea official partner. Cuadrado is going nowhere. Just the usual "need to create news to sell papers one month before the season starts".

I don't think Cuadrado's going anywhere either but evwn suggesting it has something to do with the fact he's wearing a Chelsea shirt on the regional FIFA16 cover somewhere around the world is beyond ridiculous. I'm pretty sure things like that are on the bottom of the club's priorities when considering whether to sell him or not.

Not as ridiculous as it seems. If EA is using Cuadrado with Chelsea kit, instead of Colombia one, its because they know Cuadrado won't be sold.
