What makes a technically decent player (at least he was at fiorentina and for the NT) become a pub player overnight. I'm not accepting poor transotionbtoba new league. That shouldn't make you incapablebof controlling a simple ball or completing a 5 yard pass and the way he gets outmuscled off the ball easily, you had think he's tyrion lannister. He's well built for a pro footballer. There has to be other forces at play. His problem is more psychological than anything imo.

I dont think his touch or passing ability has been a problem, its his dribbling, he just cant seem to take a single player on in the PL, i think every time he has tried to dribble past someone he has been tackled with ease, which i find very strange and he needs to stop diving in whenever he goes back to defend.

it could be also due to the way/role he used to play in Italy vs. the role which Mourinho wants him to play at Chelsea might be a bit different and he might find it difficult to adapt

Which is bizzare as dribbling was arguably his strongest point before joining us

It feels funny (in a bad way) and probably even undeserving that he's going to get a league medal despite having played so badly and done nothing of note since joining us.

That's sad to say the least. Good few months for him.

Not sure selection would say anything at all about his future. But non selection certainly would.
