Juan Cuadrado

Loan him to Everton next season and give the youth a chance! Traore has developed a lot this season in Vitesse and could possibly be a squad player next season. And I am dying inside if we do not see a single glimpse of Boga next season. The lad has Hazard-levels of talent.

So did Kakuta if we are being honest.

I don't think he was bad he the 2 games he started, After that he played 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there. Obviously Mourinho didn't like is performances, he isn't playing, he has some pressure right now to show what he can do in a limited time period... so things are not woring so well.

But in reality in those 2 games he was decent:

FOr me is is mile better than Schurrle, Salah, and if we continue with this AM's he will be in the starting eleven with Willian and HAzard.

It's a shameful way you will die but so it be. RIP !Hazard!.

I was a big fan and am now a big suspect. The hope is he needs to get used to less time in the ball and needs more strength (and balance too)

This should then improve confidence.

Or he's just not made for the PL

Really I think the game against Burnley he was one of the key culprits in how we dropped 2 points. We played with the ball a lot on the right side but between him and Ivanovic, created very little. Ivanovic is a full back though so hes not as much to blame as his first role is to defend but still Cuadrado didn't create anything worthy of note still was very disappointing that day. First half v Everton was his best game for us but still pretty poor.

What do you think about the performances of Oscar in the last 5 months? And Oscar is here for 3 years doing exactly the same in the second part of the season...

Schürrle also often alluded to his lack of brawn being a factor that he never really set foot into the premier league. Footballers are rarely big but obviously the few kgs that take you from skinny to slim make a huge difference esp for wide players.

However, age does not matter that much for bulking up as testosterone maintains a high level men from their late teens until at least our 30ies. It is still very very easy for a 26 year olds to put on 10kg within a year, esp for someone so skinny as Cuadrado.

hate to talk about shit I don't know a thing about - this qualifies even more than football itself :) - but it's not what heard from professionals; they want to work with players as young as possible as their development is not entirely complete so they can shoot for more permanent changes which isnt possible once they are close to their 30s. Perhaps bulking up can be done in a short term, but there are a number of other specialized training that demands time, as in years, so expecting a 27 yo to achieve the level of improvement of a 19yo is unrealistic IMHO.

This aspect, development of players, is something I see entirely ignored around here. Cuadrado is a 30m buy and he should perform as such. I personally did not think he was an improvement over Andre or Salah - both younger players.

Yes, all based on two videos of him dribbling past no one, getting dispossessed easily and passing sideways and backwards...hmmm, the bolded part is quite worrying though. At least there was a good chance of Schurrle scoring when he came of the bench.

Right now: Bosingwa as a winger > Cuadrado.

Just shows Denial is more than a river in Egypt.

Cuadrado has looked god awful, and those videos confirm that.

Rom you have slaughtered Oscar for less lol.

For less done on the pitch by Oscar.

For example this incredible performance against Manchester City by our number 10 at home. Ladies and gentlemen here we have our number 10:

Do you want to rewatch the video of Cuadrado now?

Unfortunatly I can't find many of Oscar performances in the second part of the season on youtube. It would be something really wonderful to watch.

Like those games when he was substituted at half time or at the minute 60 because he couldn't do a single pass.

I was one of the only here defending Salah and even Schurrle from the abuse they were receiving this season, Even if they were poor here, but they didn't deserve that kind of treatment.

On the other hand we have a number 10 that likes to start his vacations 6 months earlier than all the others, and we can't say it. A number 10 that last season did 2 assists in the League. A player that again is playing like shit.

But let's say that Cuadrado is useless, a player that started 2 games with Chelsea. Oscar is amazing.

Awareness level is terrible...don't know if it is just down to nerve or he has always been like this. Once your awareness is bad your ability as an attacking player reduces immensely.

If you read what I've posted in the Oscar thread you'll know exactly what I feel about Oscar's contribution.
