Cuadrado isn't cut out for the premier league that's the bottom line. When we played Stoke when Shawcross clattered into him Cuadrado yelped like a little girl I was in the West Stand and you could hear it quite clearly. It was a hard challenge but after that and for the rest of his time with us he completely went into his shell. Can you imagine a right side of him and Ivan ? God it's a horrible prospect.

Cuadrado was great last season and Conte knows how to get the best out of him and the right side would be much better in defense because Cuadrado is good at defending he has played for Juventus as a RWB and he was great.

Playing well for Juventus is not the same as playing for Chelsea it's a lazy comparison. Harry Kane was brilliant for Spurs yet terrible for England that in itself is probably a lazy comparison. What I saw of Cuadrado was as I said someone without the physical attributes to cut it in the Premier League. As the old cliche says '' Could he cut it on a Monday night in Stoke? '' Cuadrado couldn't cut himself shaving.

First of all, I have been told by another member that a response I made to an earlier post of yours was patronising. I appologise for that.

Tthe most we can say for Antonio is that he thinks he knows how to get the best out of Cuadrado.

A question to you, or anyone else who may know the answer, did Juan make himself Juve's first choice right wing-back or did he mainly play there when others were unavailable or rested?

Personally I HOPE that Contes being sly with Juve by keeping him. Either because he wants to use him in swaps or as a fuck you to Juve thinking if you wont sell us so n so you can see how it feels to want.

But Conte must have watched Square every week while hes keeping his eyes on national team players. So he might just think he is going to be good for us.

Players can sometimes change when theyve been away for a bit. Come back a changed man

We shall see I guess.

When Juventus played a 3-5-2 he was usually playing he has started 16 games and came on 12 times.

Nah if anything he'll be 'like a new signing', forgive the cliché.

From what I've heard he was good last season out on loan and is a player Conte's been wanting to manage since his Juve days so he'll have a clear role in mind for him if he indeed is brought back. That and the fact Cuadrado would be starting the season having been at the club for a full pre-season regime gives me hope he'd come good if given the chance.

we have so much deadwood that really, keeping Cuadrado as a squad member is the least of my problems and I don't like his football at all.

There's a long list of players that should leave Chelsea either because they aren't even squad member material or because being squad members they actually take away opportunity from younger players I'd rather have. Iva, Mikel, Oscar, Pedro, Remy (love the guy, but he has to go). Also Marin (LOL FOREVER) and Salah are on my list ahead of Cuadrado among the players we should get rid of. Why do we keep those guys and loaning them over and over is beyond me. Just sell them already and get done with it. It felt so depressing to see Marin in the first training session with Conte. We really need to move from some players we have on loan.

Hold on, he wasn't "great". He had a couple of excellent games and a few awful ones as well. Overall he was average, which is why Juve didn't try to sign on a permanent basis.

Wait, Salah is still here?! Could've sworn we sold him last season..

his highlights reel looks piss, mainly him missing the target and winning fouls, fouls which you might not get in england. very uninspiring considering he played for a team that walked the league. move him on

Inb4 Marin becomes a regular sub under conte.

But yeah, kidding aside, I agree with the players you named (Not so much with Pedro, he seemed to get a bit better towards the end of the season). When we signed Marin I was really excited because I really wanted him to do well for us, and I predicted the signing back in FIFA 12 along with Schurle. A shame one left and the other was just poor.

Cuadrado was great you can ask any Juventus fan as well and Juventus didn't have a option to buy him on permanent basis.

I did ask a Juventus fan. In fact, you can say I'm sort of in a 'constant communication' with one, seeing as I'm a Juve fan myself!

Yes, they didn't have an option in the loan deal, but had they thought he was 'great' surely they would have approached Chelsea to make the deal permanent. They didn't.

Juventus wouldn't pay 30m.

They wouldn't pay 30m for Cuadrado. They just paid more than that for Pjanic. In fact they probably wouldn't even pay 20m for Cuadrado and that has to do with how they view him based on his time there: A descent squad player. Good to have on the bench.

Pjanic is different to Cuadrado. How much they paid for pjanic has nothing to do with Cuadrado.

The standard double-talk method makes deciphering Conte's comments difficult. He might mean that he likes Cuadrado and wants him back at the club, or he might mean he wants to sell Cuadrado but knows what has to be said to maximise the price.

First thing first, I'm with you that Chelsea should see the back of Cuadrado when he has decent market value like for example right now.

However !

Conte's known fan of Cuadrado. In fact, whispers are that it was direct reason why Conte resigned from his post at Juve. Morata was bought 2 days after Conte resigned and the deal was struck already when Conte was still Juve manager. But he wanted someone else still and that one was Cuadrado. But Juve couldn't deliver. At least that's what I read.

I like the idea of Conte being mischievous tactic in transfer dealings but I think you should take what he says here at the face value and Cuadrado will indeed be Chelsea player come 1st of September.,
