He has looked tidy on the ball, but clearly hasnt no where near settled yet, he has been keeping it very simple so far, he hasnt been running at players trying to take them on, I really wanted us to sign Felipe Anderson instead as i think he was huge potential, but i am sure once he settles Cuadrado will show his quality.

Yeah but I think people need to realize he wont get 3+ games in a row if he doesnt impress Mourinho. And so far Cuadrado was meh at best in games so far.

While I dont blame Cuadrado for anything, you pay 30m for a player who will perform instantly, not for someone who will need time to adjust.

If you sign Reus for example, he will take one month and then start performning well.

If Cuadrado cant overtake Willian, he never will.

I only wonder why do we spend 30m on player that wasnt meant to be given fair chance to show himself.

Cuadrado needs to show more in order to bench Willian and he isnt doing that. When you buy player, he wont have guaranteed spot until he performs above average. If he does that, he gets more play time. Its simple as that.

Mourinho will probably play Cuadrado this way for quite some time and if Juan wont perform above average, he wont get spot. simple as that. And people here after a year will say he didnt get chance etc etc. If you arrive for 30m, its your job to perform, one way or another. Instead all these players we have are just passive and then explode in other clubs. But I guess Mourinho restricts their roles massively. No free role or whatsoever and that makes hard to Cuadrado, Salah etc. Even when they get chance, they cant play their way and this is Mou problem to solve.

And while speaking of game time, Isco for example was benched alot for Real in past two years, but still managed to impress in the time given and now is considered regular starter (he had some luck with James injury but still, performed very well).

We are title contenders and we wont give players like Cuadrado much time to improve, impress perform whatsoever. They have to show it in time given that they are better. And since Willian aint that great in attack (been better this two months has to be said), I dont know how cant Cuadrado give more to attack. He is passive, like someone tied his hands. No spark whatsoever. And thats problem on Mou too.

But if thats case, just dont spend 30m on such players. Either seriously count on them, or buy some 30 year old for 5m and play him for capital game every two months.

I understand your point, but the thing is every purchase is a gamble, whether it is 1m or 50m. We did that when we signed Salah last year, given him a chance, but he failed here, now we loaned him, he perform, credits to him. Having said that, I agree it is mainly because of he is given playing times more on smaller club, therefore his confident is back.

When we buy Cuadrado, he is our best option out there at that moment, even media says so. His minutes of playing since then has been limited, it is 'hard' for him also because Willian, Hazard are on their top form. Although I could recalled, when Cuadrado played as a starter away, most people in here think he is playing well. What I am trying to say is that we should trust Jose and Cuadrado. Give him a time, the team are doing well at the moment. People please do not judged Cuadrado situation, mainly because Salah at the same time in Italy playing well. It is very unrelated imo.

You know, what if Salah happened could not perform that well at Fiorentina, most people will still think Cuadrado was a brilliant signing.

I wasn't happy with him coming before he signed but the reaction after the past few performances is just not fair. He's only been here for a few weeks and is not used to the style of the team. He feels pressure and its clear he doesn't have a go at defenders like he did at Fiorentina. We need to give him time to adjust, its not easy to come from a terrible league to the premier league to a team who is challenging for the CL. I'm not saying he will definitely become a great player but for us, as supporters, it is a must to give him time especially given the situation he is in.

To make it ease for some in here. What do we achieved, if we didn't buy Cuadrado back then and still have Salah in the squad? We may still 5 points clear at the top of the league, a game in hand, COC winner, strong position to qualified in CL, or could be worse. I couldn't imagine it will be better than that.

Thing is we could have saved the money and just reassessed the situation in the summer. Probably even get Reus.

It is not his fault either. The sad thing is he is not getting picked because Jose doesn't trust him DEFENSIVELY. If this was August I am sure he would probably have a couple of assists under his belt now because he is better than Willian attacking wise.

I like Reus,but I would not buy him because he gets injured to easily.Hazard,who gets kicked all the time,is almost never injured while Reus is.

On Varane.I am not sure how his developtment is but I think he started on tuesday night against Schalke,so he must have had a bad day.He also had a very bad day against Atletico,which is a little bit worrying because I usually want players that they are on thei peak of their level.

We will have to see if Varane is available and if Terry makes more appearences like that because Terry played so shit.I can´t describe how bad he was.

Buy Varane,give RLC a chance and maybe buy a world class RW if someone is available.
