Juan Cuadrado

Well willian has always been something else defending that right wing, starting to think its unfair comparing lol how does he look going forward? Can't expect much in a tight game but curious?

As others have said, literally involved in the whole of 1st half, 2nd half not so much so not surprisingly withdrawn. Again I don't think this was the best game to make a judgement on him because Everton parked the bus so we couldn't really play freely. Next game against Burnley should give us a much better indication of how well he is fitting in.

He certainly isn't afraid to run and play long passes though. Corner kick was honest pretty bad, but that can be worked on and with Fab now back it doesn't really matter I guess.

Around the minute 40 of first half; William did a cross, the ball go to the area, and the 9 was........ Ivanovic! When I see to the right side, Cuadrado was like RB. In this moment, I understood his signing :D .

It's clear that Mou is not only fixed in his offensive skills, also into the tactical.

In general, good game for Juan.

Shown more in 90 mins than Salah's done all season. I was really impressed with him, especially considering just how defensive Everton were. He'll be even more boss when Costa and Fabregas are back.

Tidy tidy tidy.

Loved seeing that front four, obviously I'd prefer to see it with Costa because I think it has such potential, the closing down and workrate was amazing from everyone even if some had a quiet game.

Good signs.

The initial signs are good IMO. He seems to have that directness/dribbling combo we needed. He seems a little nervous and doesn't a grest understanding with the rest of his teammates yet, which is perfectly normal considering he's just arrived. Also a pretty willing worker, which is nice.

Don't think he'll be much of a goal scorer, he'll get his, but not at a really high rate. However, Juan seems to have the remaining skills that were necessary... Will be worth the tradeoff for Schurrle I think.

PS: those corners... Very much Chelsea-like. [emoji23]

His hold up play has not been convincing at all, rather Willian than him at the moment when we are in a tight situation and we need to hold the ball up

Well, he has played less than 200 minutes so it's a given he wouldn't have the same understanding with our teammates. Plus Willian is in great form right now.

I know what you mean, but its an observation that I have made, he losses the ball way more than he retains it, to be fair to him its only a small sample to judge from, hopefully he improves that aspect of his game sooner rather than later if he is to be of much use for this season atleast
