Didn't Mourinho say he doesn't fit well in the Chelsea squad? Probably because he stays out wide a lot which would give Ivanovic little room to attack. What a shame that would be.

Iva must start to defend more! he can't leave cahill alone all the time.

cahill is shit enough. no need to make his life even more difficult.

he meant he doesn't fit into the squad because he is not owned by chelsea. Just a way of distancing from rumours

According to many journalists and Seira A followers his defensive work isn't the best, Jose will fix that if we do get him.

I have to say though, he's nothing like Willian. He's way more direct, kind of reminds me of Sterling in terms of style.

One thing is for sure: if he comes, Hazard won't be the only one who gets kicked a lot.

I like him. Sign him up.

It will be so much harder to defend us if we have hazard and cuadrado on the flanks. Yellow cards for defenses and hazard won't have much burden to drive the team forward with dribbles

Or yellow cards for Cuadrado instead. He has many genuinely positive attributes to his game, but he is also a VERY frequent (and often blatant) diver.

Watch Willian and then watch this lad. Willian will slow counter attacks down 70 percent of the time, this lad is much more direct and gets at people a hell of a lot more. I can see a difference just watching him in two games

Absolutely.

Cuadrado will bring a creative spark of energy to the team. It's almost a certainty that his acquisition will oil the cogs on that right flank. The void that accommodates the lacklustre offensive ability which Willian possesses could finally be relinquished. Not only this, but you sense he has a real urgency to score, to win. He is direct and is almost always ready to pull the trigger.

Albeit the corner vs Newcastle, Willian seems to switch off sometimes and can disconnect himself from the game. At times, he comes across as somewhat apathetic. Unacceptable for a team that boasts the current stature of Chelsea.

Signing this player is a tantalising prospect which could lead to some amazing things. Fingers crossed.

I am not convinced by his defensive side though, tonight didn't see him press that much(not as much as Willian anyway) but going forward he is fantastic. Oh and he is faster than Willian, that is not even debatable.

He is aso stronger and more combative. Reminds me of Alexis, just with more pace and worse finish.
