Bir_CFC 3,455
I've felt like punching every single one on that list. Sure, some are idiots but bad refereeing performances are becoming so common, you have to consider that maybe they need some help? How about adding another official? How about adding an official who is watching on TV behind the scenes.

We Hate Scouse 10,327
There's not enough reprocussions for refs that make mistakes. In my opinion they're not under enough pressure to make the right decisions resulting in complacency. Madmax 9,219
I've not seen a ref more physically unfit than Jon Moss. Always way behind the play.
Viper22 2,418
Won't be a popular opinion on here for obvious reasons but I think Dowd is actually a decent ref. He was obviously terrible at the weekend though, i'm not debating that.Clattenburg is the worst. A terrible ref and biased towards Man Utd.Only other thing I can really say with any conviction is that Mike Dean LOVES handing out cards. Since the start of the 2005 season he's given out 891 yellow cards and 54 red cards in 259 games. He's given 31 yellows and 2 reds already this season in 7 games too. JOHN MIKEL OBI RACE ROW (October 2012) Clattenburg was accused of using 'inappropriate language' towards Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi during their 3-2 defeat by Manchester United. Clattenburg was eventually cleared after investigations from the FA and Metropolitan Police. Mikel was fined £60,000 and given a three-match ban for threatening Clattenburg after the match.CRAIG BELLAMY ROW (Decemeber 2009)Clattenburg sent Bellamy off for two yellow cards in a match between Manchester City and Bolton, having earlier asked the City bench: 'How do you work with Craig Bellamy all week?'SACKED OVER BUSINESS DEALINGS (August 2008)He was sacked by the PGMO board after allegations he owed £60,000 following a failed business deal. Sidzeret 2,257
From what I've seen, Chris Foy and Clattenberg are absolute pathetic biased referees. I'd kick them both in the nuts if I get the chance. Guess Ovrebo, Foy and Clattenberg will make a good trio

Madmax 9,219
I don't know if this was picked up on here but before the second half at OT Giggs walked over to Dowd on the touchline and they shared a laugh over something. Are assistants allowed to approach the ref in that manner?
LDN Blue 7,903
I always empathise with a referee during the weekdays, when they haven't made a mess. But there are serial offenders like Chris Foy who constantly seem to be in the spotlight for certain decisions. More or less, most of them are good for the majority tbh but when they screw up.. Well boy do they make a mess. Contentious decisions seem be going to way of the home side at most games, especially involving big clubs.Though some may disagree, I beliege Howard Webb was very admirable.Yeah I definitely co-sign this. He did take the mantel of being the best referee in England quite well.. Notable mistakes? Sure (WC Final comes to mind), but he certainly didn't get to referee that game + other finals (CL etc) without earning his stripes.
