Mourinho vetoed Demba Ba's loan move to Arsenal in the summer of 2013 after deciding the Gunners were potential title rivals, but he said: "Petr Cech is not a player - he's an institution.

"Ten years in goal, going through everything he went through, great moments and sad moments, dying on the pitch.

"Chelsea gave him a lot, but for what he is giving to the club still, he deserves a special perspective. I think he won the right to be part of a discussion and a decision.

Everyone should think about this before blasting Cech. You have attackers that win games, we had Cech in Champions league. I dont think a goalkeeper ever had such influence and importance in winning any title as did Cech. We had quite shit team, but Cech was absolute world class in that tournament. Our best player without a doubt. No disrespect to Drogba and co, but without Cech, we wouldnt win that year in million tries. He deserved to go wherever he goes and even if Arsenal, I will always respect him and like no matter what. Its football. Even if he performs well for arsenal, it should not be forgotten how much he gave to this team.

Relationship goes both ways and we moved on first. Im just happy the breakup wasnt bad, but ended in good terms and respect.

His new gloves are fucking hideous, in fact the entire adidas glove range for 2015/16 is disgusting.

Never ever thought I'd swap glove brands again (I wore Lotto exclusively until 2008; swapped to adidas in 2008 and have been playing and coaching in various version of adidas Predator gloves since then), but look at these monstrosities:

Utterly vile, it looks as if Spiderman designed these while fucked on ketamine. How can they have gone from this to that in the space of six months? Shocking. Bring back the old Response Pros from 2008-12. They were fucking proper gloves. These were my all-time favourite pair (obviously Cech wore them...), the contact maximiser cut was revolutionary for goalkeeper gloves - yet they still looked absolutely boss. The old 2008 model were especially fantastic, the grip was incredible.
