DanishBlue 426
I really like Remy even though he isn't the best striker out there (obviously) and we shouldn't get one of the best strikers on the bench. This signing makes sense. Just a thing though. If he failed his medical at Liverpool how can he pass it at Chelsea? Do we just say "yeah, he has a problem with his heart but it doesn't matter"? And why are QPR selling him in a split second (they loan him out and were willing to sell to first Liverpool and now us - don't they rate him enough? Diego 433
i read his buy out clause is £7.9m for any Champions League team
bababoom 4,478
Loic Remy completes £8.5m move to Chelsea as Fernando Torres' replacementLoic Remy has completed a move to Chelsea from QPR.Jose Mourinho has acted quickly to replace Fernando Torres after he left on loan to AC Milan and triggered Remy's £8.5million release clause. It is understood the striker, who was seeking £80,000 per week wages, has agreed terms with Chelsea and the move will be announced shortly. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2738460/Loic-Remy-completes-8-5m-Chelsea-Fernando-Torres-replacement.htmlNo messing around from Chelsea, we've been so efficient in this window. Cholo 428
I really wanted Chicharito.[emoji25] oh well.Chicharito is shit and you are someone who should stop to rate such players highly only because you are Mexican yourself!
iseah100 5,612
Chicharito is shit and you are someone who should stop to rate such players highly only because you are Mexican yourself! He's not shit. He would be a great option as a 2nd striker, as several other non-Mexican members on here have said.
BlueLyon 9,359
Chicarito was great in first seasons, now he lost fitness and form. He isnt even starter for Mexico...but working under Mou could definately bring him to best. Just its big risk and United wouldnt ever sell to us, not cheap at least... ChelseaFC12 134
I know he's not a first tier striker but he's still good and I believe he'll offer much more to us than Torres. And if Jose believes he's the right choice I too.
MichaelDance 552
Question is, what about his medical? do you think we'll sign him even if he fails it?We've got the best doctor / medic in football

Eidur the Spider 4,515
Jose Mourinho on Loic Remy: "The information we have from our various specialists is that he does not have any issues playing" #CFC #QPRFC
Viper22 2,418
Quick question: Are the people whining about the Remy imminent signing the same ones that said that Diego "4 goals in 3 games" Costa and Cesc "4 assists in 3 games" Fabregas weren't going to be good enough? It would surprise me if they were.
Viper22 2,418
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28385300 <---Liverpool trigger Remy's £8.5M release clause. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28994304 <---Chelsea trigger Remy's £10.5M release clause. The media bias is fucking appalling. It's like when they were saying that Luiz's fee was £40M rather than £50M, and that Fabregas' was £30M rather than £27M.When we sell it's for the lowest fee possible and when we buy it's for the highest fee possible.Jealous shits just because our transfer business is the best out of any club in any sport ever atm. Muzchap 8,966
Geoff Shreeves didn't ask Jose about Remy, obviously been told not too.He did - Jose said he will talk about on the coach - 'make some phone calls' - he doesn't like to be disturbed with this stuff prior to the match Shreeves saw he wouldn't get any further and backed off Jose also mentioned his 'Special Doctor' - lol so looks like Remy is coming...
