A lot of them were penalties tbh. I rate him but he is not in the same league as Costa right now imo. Like Costa, Lacazette has not started the season well too and has not scored a goal so far this season.

He has the same intangibles as Costa but better technique..... Costa might have better accuracy and speed, but everything else I rate Cavani over Costa even when he was out of form last season.

Look Costa simply isn't WC by any stretch of the imagination. I couldn't care less about his goal record, Mario Gomez also had an insane record a few years ago as did Huntelaar.

You say he didn't get any chances but I remember Hazard & Ivanovic putting him through in each half & him making a complete mess out of it. Unless he's spoonfed he usually doesn't score. World Class strikers can create their own chances for themselves & others. Costa can't. He gets regularly bossed by defenders that can match his overrated physicality as well. None of that aggro nonsense works in England.

He should not be compared to drogba...drogba's hold up play and link up with other players is on another level...Not to mention his aerial ability...costa despite his decent height could not win one aerial duel...even lukaku is better than him in this regard

Comparing Diego to Drogba is unfair, for a good stretch of time DD was the best striker around in my opinion. And yes Costa is not bad himself, i'm really happy he's at our club, he's the least of our worries right now.

I think Costa is certainlly better then Benzema and Lewandowski, as for Barca signing him he doesnt have to be better then Suarez, if Costa was available and Barca wanted to sign another striker, they would of course sign Costa.

He is being found out for how limited he is, he is INCREDIBLY POOR TECHNICALLY and this is not even false. Can't even fucking dribble past any of their defender and if he cannot do this against Everton defenders what can he do when we play against the likes of PSG and other teams with actual super star defenders?

Honestly think a combination of hamstring injury and his poor attributes being exposed means he is being found out badly. Honestly think he is heading down the Torres path at this rate, a player on top of the world with a couple of fantastic seasons but then ruined by injuries. We need to sign a top striker to compete/replace him next summer even if he scores 15 goals this season.

Costa scored more headers and won more Ariel duals then Aguero, Suarez and Benzema last season while playing less games, he really isn't on their level is he? very limited indeed.

Costa is actually good technically, hence why he has played on the wing and as a number 10 in the past, and done very well there. He is deceptively good with the ball at his feet and linking play, shame people don't watch him often enough.
