bushman 2,043
Diego Costa is 25. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_CostaAnd for me a striker hits his prime at 25, the reason you can't look back and see him score boatloads is because these are the years that those sorts of performances start to happen. Look at Cavani and Falcao for more evidence.Sorry, my mistake, I thought he was older. He looks much older than 25. Lol.
MrBlueGuy 1,552
I don't think there are many striker competitions with the same level as him for Spain. Next WC he will be 29. Torres, Villa will be gone by then. Maybe just Llorente and Negredo as a potential rivals. I see Pedro more like a winger. It is not just them though but over next 4 years there will be more strikers breaking through. If Spain's best options in 4 years are the likes of Negredo and Llorente then they are in trouble.
iseah100 5,612
Compare Lukaku & he is already signed. What´s the better deal?I think Costa is better, but Lukaku is clearly a better deal.

iseah100 5,612
@ChelsTransfer: Monday saw the summit of board of directors of Atletico, chaired by the CEO and majority shareholder, Gil Marin. Some interesting notes. According to Cadena Cope & El Confidencial, Costa already signed a contract with CFC, but following CL final, is now seeking to break it. However, Costa would have to bear the penalty to break it. #Atletico CEO Gil Marin plans a pay rise to compensate & convince him to continue. Courtois is much more difficult to keep than Costa. Player wants to continue in Madrid but Mourinho wants him back at #CFC (El Confidencial)

If this is true, Atleti really fucked us, we loaned Courtois to them for 3 years, let him play in the CL semi,...

Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
If this is true and I have strong suspicions of the contrary, I would let him go back to Atleti... I only want players who WANT to be here.

Pizy 18,909
Seems totally legit... lolEven if it were legit I personally wouldn't lose sleep over it. Wouldn't be overly excited by him signing and won't be devastated or anything if he doesn't.Just throw money at PSG for Cavani. They could use the money to fund a move for Yaya.
