bushman 2,043
Some say, it's done. Nevertheless, others are reluctant to confirm it. I guess, next Monday we will see what happens.
José1893 89
I'd love to welcome Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge. Please just don't bring Mandzukic rather than him!
Pizy 18,909
Seriously, though, I wonder what we'd do if Costa does decide to stay there. Not many top class strikers out there that are the 25-30 goal scorers we need for anything under £50m. I guess Benzema would be the next best out there but I have a feeling he'll stay at RM and if not would fit like a glove with his French mates and a French manager at Arse who have been linked with him forever. We'd almost be shit out of luck if Costa doesn't come. We may have to settle for Mandzukic & Lukaku.Honestly, I'm past worrying about our new strikers. I know something will be done there. I'm now in the "hope and pray" phase concerning our CM. bushman 2,043
Well, even madzukic is not certain. The worst scenario is Lukaku, Torres, BA. Who knows whether Lukaku would not be the best option if he's given the opportunity.

Who knows whether Lukaku would not be the best option if he's given the opportunity.Never gonna happen that way, at the very worst we will probably decide to try sign Balotelli for 40m or Cavani for 60m or something. I doubt the club and Jose will accept another season with the likes of those as strikers, well not unless we are aiming for 4th and FA Cup then it will be enough I think. Also just remembered Jackson Martinez is always available at 34m as release clause, always can go in for him as the last resort.
bushman 2,043
Guy, That's all Chelsea needs balotelli. Lol. Cavani is going nowhere, Martinez may not be available by the time Jose wakes up. Something like with Rooney. Lol. Perhaps, lukaku just might do?
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
I think we will sign either just Costa with Lukaku staying and even Torres. Or we sign Costa plus

Jose has worked with both of them so I'm sure he would be aware and could turn to either as an option if we don't get Costa
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Mourinho saying we wont sign anyone before the WC. Why do I have a feeling he is lying? Lol.Those quotes are what he said in the press conference before Cardiff game i think [may be wrong].He may be telling the truth, but i wouldnt be surprised in the slightest if we did something, or agreed something before the end of WC. I'm still expecting something official re.Costa next week after CL final

RoyalBlues 4,050
http://as.com/diarioas/2014/05/20/english/1400614521_057694.html Diego Costa in Belgrade to see 'placenta doctor' Kovacevic Known as the 'miracle doctor', Marijana Kovacevic uses horse placenta to bring players back from muscle injuries. Diego Costa is in search of a miracle in Serbia. Her name is Marijana Kovacevic and they call her the ‘miracle doctor’. Diego Costa has travelled to Belgrade as Atlético Madrid turn to the Serbian specialist for a miracle – and to get the forward back fit.Costa has escaped a tear to his right hamstring, instead suffering an accumulation of spasms that threaten to end up KO-ing the 25-year-old. On widespread advice, he has flown to the Serbian capital to see Kovacevic – who has become well-known for using horse placenta to treat muscular injuries – and will return on Wednesday to join up with Diego Simeone’s squad at Los Ángeles de San Rafael. The player's flying visit to Belgrade indicates that he is exploring every possible avenue towards a possible recovery in time for Saturday’s Champions League final. Kovacevic’s former patients include Frank Lampard, Glen Johnson, Yossi Benayoun and Albert Riera. She is to work as Ghana’s national team doctor at this summer’s World Cup – and is Costa’s last chance.Rumour said he is went to Belgrade for a treatment.I remember Lampard has that kind of treatment back then, and it seems there are no big problem. But, I'm curious with Benayoun case, is he going downhill after that placenta treatment? And from this article :http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=516820According to the latest announcements, Frank Lampard and Fernando Torres, are coming to Belgrade. They will probably have no difficulty to contact Marijana Kovacevic. The initial prognosis was that Frank would be out for 3 weeks after the F.A.`s cack-handed flight cock-up. Seems like Torres have this kind of treatment too in 2009. Is he going downhill after that too? I suddenly don't like the idea of Costa to have this risky treatment. Waterfall 893
It's not Torres' hamstring that killed his career. He had no problem scoring even when he had the series of hamstring injuries. His damaged knee on the other hand did. It didn't help that pace was one of very few world class qualities he had (just like Kaka). Costa's tough and works extremely hard, but he's not as dependent on his pace.

MrExcalibur100 7,124
He is an absolute handful, even when he doesn't score, he tortures defenses, (in this case two beasts in Pepe and Ramos), with his incredible pace and power. One of the very few WC strikers that can lead a frontline single-handed.
