Under Rodgers they have done incredibly well and they have a smell for it now and you can see them really pushing on for the bigger and better players. Liverpool is a far more exciting project now than say Manchester United despite Van Gaal. I've been reading Liverpool forums and they are convinced that Lucas Leiva is going, so in would sit Cesc……hypothetical and all that but he could join worse teams than Liverpool.
