Maybe Mikel might get some more playing time after his impressive performance against Everton (no, not just DAT BACKHEEL ASSIST, but also he did good at the other stuff as well).

Come on... Oscar would have no chance at liverpool's starting 11. doesn't mean they have a better 11 than us. But on performance wise: Sterrling, Courtinho have been much better. For our system though, I dont think any of their mids would replace Oscar here either

Played with a poor tempo at the start of the match, and it was no surprise to see him give the ball away for their first goal.

Much better in the second half though, with Ramires also brought on to keep up the pace alongside him. Needs to keep it going that way.

It's not fair to single him out too much. He hasn't been excellent but today he was a victim of our muddled thought processes and actions on the pitch. The team was set up to be progressive and forward thinking but the front 3 never pressed in the first half hour. With no pressure on the ball, Swansea (who are very good at this anyway) kept running rings around him and Fabregas. You can't hop on to their backs for not doing their jobs when their teammates did nothing to help them out. When we did step it up and closed down early and in numbers, he was back to looking comfortable.
