Unbelievable performance from Matic today, only bettered by Hazard. Bossed the midfield both defensively and offensively and had Pogba in his back pocket all game. Was like a Rolls-Royce. Super.

I wanted him out but he has been much and MUCH better since we moved to the 3-4-3 formation. Perfect partner for N'Golo even though he isn't the same player as Danny Drinkwater, Kante's previous midfield partner. Hope he keeps this form for the rest of the season. Then he has my blessings to stay.

Yup, Matic is under pressure to perform this season and he's been decent. Hope he keeps these sort of performances up, he can play even better. Looks like he's getting his confidence back which is good. Weird how he's got the most assists in the team, seems like we're not missing Cesc much at all.
