Like I said, all the rumors earlier this summer about Mata eventually seem to have some leg. It is now very obvious Jose like Hazard and Oscar but not Mata.

I'm not sure he doesn't like Mata, but the thing is Oscar picked from where he finished last season while Mata is struggling to find his best form - sharpness wise. So it's a combination of things. As for Hazard, I agree. No matter how well Kevin, André or Willian play (not saying they're performing necessarily better than Eden) deliver, Mourinho won't take Eden away from the team. So while I see a different treatment between Eden and Mata, but that's Mourinho. He has his untouchables. He's the first one to tell you that and he already used this term during this spell and he used it a lot in his first. Those are the players he trusts. In addition to Eden and Oscar, I feel Ivan, Ramires and Lamps (shape allowing) are pretty much untouchable as well.

we don't move fast enough in the final third... mata has to play behind the strikers and Oscar as CM this is my honest opinion... Willian and KDB can fight it for the right wing rotating with Mata as OMF...

Mata is still comeing back from injury and he will be el matador again I'm more then sure... Oscar will be Lampards replacement for me there will be no way around it... he has not the same body but the same long range finish and killer instinct... he has to take his role...

Oscar would probably leave before he allows himself to be placed further back. Such a move would be damaging for his international career.

No I agree with that. But I think we benchmark him against a very high standard. He will be more dangerous soon. A lot of defensive duties, double coverage, lack of Cole support ... he looks like he still trying to find his way in the team's philosophy, really.

He hasn't been good, but from some comments on here you'd think he's useless. For some reason the expectations for him are ridiculous compared to others in the same age/prizebracket.

I even read stuff like 'WHEN the fuck he is gonna show us why we paid for him'. Have you missed last season? Have you missed the BAYERN game 2 games ago? Ah that's right fans memories go as far as the previous game.

He needs to do better, but it's not as bad as some are making it out to be//
