manpe 10,861
My first worry - will Lampsy be back ? I would love him to knock some balls off Gerrard. Otherwise it will be a very hard game. 0-0 imo would be a good enough result and then end them up in the Bridge. Hopefully we'd get an away goal, that would be a booster. But with Grant in charge, whooey... Hard to predict.

SuperSheva7 0
Come on Chelsea! Let's try to salvage something from this season! A draw would be great to take back to the Bridge where we can cream 'em Edited April 19, 2008 by SuperSheva7

bombayblue™ 55
maka, mikel and SWP in midfield?
DavidEU 2,023
I think Frank will play. Ballack 50/50. If its Maka/Mikel/SWP, i'd match Liverpool and play 4-2-3-1 with Joe Cole playing like Gerrard, SWP and Kalou out wide.
manpe 10,861
Joe Cole midfield playmaker please. Mikel, Makelele, Sidwell would be fucked... J.Cole in the middle would give SWP a chance again.
bombayblue™ 55
i still think it'll be maka, lamps and ballack.. and lamps scoring and revealing a shirt "this one's for you mommy"

BlueLion. 21,491
Manager Rafael Benitez has revealed that Steven Gerrard is a doubt for Liverpool's Champions League semi-final first leg tie with Chelsea on Tuesday. The 27-year-old sat out his side's 2-0 win away at Fulham with a neck injury and Benitez is unsure if he will be fit in time to face the Blues at Anfield. "We don't know at the moment," he said. "Steven is working with the physios. "He is improving but it is still too soon. You always have to be careful with the neck." Source: BBC

Elliott 7
Damn we're missing three midfielders. Gonna have to be Maka, Mikel and SWP, that worries me.
