Maybe, but i was pretty sure he'd sign a new contract with Anderlecht. If you're not a fixed first team player in Belgium, you shouldn't go to Atletico (unless they keep him there for a year or two).

IIRC he said in an interview that he'll sign a contract extension when he turns 18. We'll know his decision soon enough.

Dropped form a bit (which is normal for a 17 year old) and Leander Dendoncker is replacing him quite well - he's a bit more solid as well and more compatible with Steven Defour.

Rumor proved false. Anderlecht's CEO was in Madrid to attend an Atletico game, not to talk about Tielemans, who will sign a new contract on May 7.
