CHOULO19 24,332
due to injury expect him to be on the benchIt was just a little knock and he was only left out of the Cardiff game as a precaution and because we didn't really need him. I don't that will affect Jose's team selection.

I don't that will affect Jose's team selection. He's nailed on to start then, which is great news as his acquaintance with the German teams could be very helpful. I said the same in the match thread. Plus, Daxler has been involved in 3 of Schalke's 4 CL goals this season, so Andre's defensive work on the right wing to could be crucial. TrippingStep 336
Seems like the same ankle he was feeling pain in the beginning of the match against Norwich. I remember he was checking his right ankle very early on in the match against Norwich.

Special Juan 28,141
Did a great job, tracked, harassed, showed as a willing runner and looked dangerous.

bushman 2,043
I know Schurrle did a great job against Schalke. However, shouldn´t he be used in more offensive role, instead ?I mean, for Germany he scored at will.
Popular Post! Dylan_91 90 Posted October 24, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted October 24, 2013 Am I the only one who thought he was awful against schalke? He lost the ball almost every time he touched it. I know he did okay tracking back but that's not what I look for in a winger. The same reason I don't like Ramires on the wing. His defensive work-rate is incredible, but I fear it is at the detriment of his attacking qualities.
Sheva. 5,373
Yep he got the ball a lot but couldn't get past Uchida. Hardly had a shot too, so unlike him lol.

His defensive work-rate is incredible, but I fear it is at the detriment of his attacking qualities. He wasn't at 100% because of his that foot injury before and the fact that he was probably asked to focus more defending than attacking due to Azpi playing at LB. The_Flash 1,144
 Schurrle..That does look like Jose behind, lol, Andre did look a bit off but he was just very big for Germany he could have been tired and do come off looking slightly injured had ice on his leg.
