Surely he will start a few games no? At very least against Walsall.

Hope he is tested and given a chance before applying for emergency loan. Horrible message to send out to the player if otherwise, basically saying you are not valued only reason you are at Chelsea is because of your English passport and regulation purposes.

I'd agree if he was a player with potential to make it here (like RLC will start) but he is just not good enough, there's a reason he was #3 at Boro.

BLACKMAN JOINS BLADES

Sheffield United have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackmanon a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old has also signed a new four-year deal at Chelsea.

Jamal Blackman’s debut for Sheffield United saw him keep a clean sheet with four very good saves, helping his side edge out Brentford (featuring former Blue, Josh McEachran), 1-0.

He's kinda come back from the wilderness out of nowhere to be one of our best loans so far this season, starting week in week out for a top Championship side. He's 24 now, but could well make sense in the future as a back up for us.

LEEDS AGREE BLACKMAN LOAN

Sky sources understand Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a season-long loan.

He is currently having a medical with the club.
