I don't see why Torres can't do an Anelka and play out wide. It's not just an excuse to make up for his shit finishing, but his passing can be underrated at times and he'd be much better in a role where he's not constantly playing with his back to goal.

But sadly he doesnt have the pace ... Anelka was lightning fast even when he left ! Maybe the Rooney role would suit him ... but i certainly want to see him and Torres play up front together.

Because up to that point he was playing pretty terribly. However, striker is one of those roles where you can play awful 90% of the game but make up for it with sparks of brilliance.
